INI SS January 2027: AIIMS issues addendum for DM, MCh seat position at AIIMS Gorakhpur, Bilaspur, JIPMER

The changes have been notified through an addendum, issued in continuation of the INI-SS Prospectus Part-A for admission to DM and MCh courses for the January 2027 session.

According to AIIMS, the revision follows communications received from AIIMS Gorakhpur, AIIMS Bilaspur and JIPMER.

At AIIMS Gorakhpur, the number of General category seats has been increased in three DM specialities. DM Critical Care Medicine has gone up from 1 to 2 seats, DM Neurology from 1 to 2 seats, and DM Gastroenterology from 1 to 2 seats.

At JIPMER Puducherry, DM Medical Genetics now has 1 General seat, compared with no seats listed earlier. Sponsored and Foreign National seats remain at zero.

Meanwhile, AIIMS Bilaspur has also received additional super-speciality seats. The number of General seats in MCh Neurosurgery has increased from 2 to 3, while MCh Urology now has 1 General seat compared with none earlier. Below is the detailed vacancy-

There has been no change in the Sponsored or Foreign National seat position for these courses, with all such seats remaining at zero in the revised table.

AIIMS has also cautioned candidates that the number of seats may be increased or decreased at any stage depending on further communications or approvals received from the participating institutes. Aspirants have therefore been advised to fill their choices and preferences carefully.
