JIPMER issues notice on larger list of Internal Quota Candidates released by MCC, Details
Puducherry: Through a recent notice, the JIPMER has informed about the larger list of JIPMER Internal Quota Candidates shared by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to the institute with respect to MBBS admissions.
All the concerned JIPMER-Internal Candidates are hereby informed that as the Mop-Up Round is being conducted by the JIPMER Authorities in the offline mode, the list of Eligible Candidates equalling to 10 times the number of available vacant seats in each Category was forwarded to the JIPMER Authorities.
Since many of the eligible students mentioned in the earlier list published on 12.01.2021 did not report for JIPMER-Internal Quota Counselling, therefore to avoid wastage of seats, as requested by the JIPMER Authorities, MCC of DGHS is sharing a larger list of JIPMER –Internal Quota Candidates.
However, before allotment of seat, the names of these Candidates must be verified by the JIPMER Authorities from the list of JIPMER-Internal Candidates, provided by the DME, Puducherry.

Candidates are also requested to keep in touch with JIPMER Website for any further developments.
New Delhi: The Final Result for Mop Up Round of MBBS, BDS NEET Counselling 2020 is now available. However, the MCC has not yet declared the result for JIPMER internal seats in compliance with the Madras high court orders.
Candidates are requested to proceed for Reporting of Mop-Up Round to the allotted college after downloading their Allotment Letters. But, before proceeding for Reporting, candidates may confirm about the same from the allotted college since as per schedule the reporting starts from 18th December 2020
On the withholding of JIPMER internal seat results, the MCC said that it is also to be noted that the result for JIPMER Internal seats has not been declared in compliance with Order dated 16.12.2020 in W.P.No. 18903 of 2020 & W.P.No. 18908 of 2020 of the Hon'ble Madras High Court, wherein the Hon'ble Court has directed that "the counselling with regard to Jipmer Internal shall go on but the final counselling result should await the orders of the Court."
Therefore, the result for JIPMER Internal is subject to the outcome of the said Writ Petition filed before the Hon'ble Madras High Court, stated the notice released by the MCC.

The MCC had earlier issued a warning for all the NEET Counselling candidates seeking MBBS admissions this year that a fake allotment letter released in the name of MCC was being circulated all over social media. The MCC confirmed that no such letter has been issued under its authority.
The fake allotment letter on "applicant nomination form for central government nominee quota for getting admission to UG medical course in a medical institution under National Medical Commission Act 2019 " framed by some unscrupulous elements comprises the format of candidates' details, list of documents required, instructions, and declaration details.
