JIPMER Releases Final Results For PhD Admissions
Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) has released the final result on completing the selection process (entrance examination & personal interview) for PhD Admission 2022-23.
The result consists of Roll No, Applicant Name, Topic chosen, Name of the Guide & Department, PhD Project / Stream, and Status of selection. One candidate is selected, and one candidate is kept on the waitlist. The detailed result is enclosed in the notice below.
Subsequent to the JIPMER entrance examination held on 02.04.2023 for admission to PhD course for the year 2022-23 and in continuation to the Personal Interview held on 25.05.2023, the final result of the selection process has been released.
The PhD candidates were selected based on the aggregate marks scored in written test based on multiple choice questions and viva-voce examinations. Candidates scoring 50% or more marks in written and viva separately will only qualify for selection. The shortlisted candidates will be allotted topics per their choices (if available) in the order of their rank from within the project stream they had opted for.
Admission to all candidates is based on the merit, category of the candidates, and the availability of seats at the time of counseling. All candidates should report on the due date mentioned in their admission letter, failing which, they will forfeit the right of admission.
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is a medical school located in Pondicherry. It is an institute of national importance (INI) and a tertiary care referral hospital. It is under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Indian Government, with autonomy to run its internal administration. The courses include undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty, fellowships, PhD programs, post-basic diplomas, and certified courses.
