Karnataka NEET 2026 counselling registrations to close on July 30
Karnataka: The Karnataka Authority for Examinations (KEA) will close the registration window for the 2026 National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling tomorrow.
The KEA has reportedly extended the registration deadline for the Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026. Therefore, eligible students can now complete the registration process for undergraduate medical and dental admissions via the official website until July 30, 2026.
Students seeking admission are advised to submit their applications before the extended deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. The registration link for Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 is active on the KEA portal, and a direct application link has also been provided for the convenience of students applying for UG medical admission.
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna IAS informed candidates that the earlier deadline of July 24, 2026, has been extended following requests from applicants and parents. The authority has also clarified that NEET results information has not yet been received by KEA. STEPS FOR KARNATAKA NEET UG 2026 COUNSELLING REGISTRATION
Students can complete the registration for Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 by following these steps-
STEP 1- Visit the official KEA website.
STEP 2- Click on the UGNEET 2026 admission portal.
STEP 3- Select the Online Application link.
STEP 4- Register by entering the required personal and academic details.
STEP 5- Upload the necessary documents, including a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format.
STEP 6- Pay the applicable registration/counselling fee through the available online payment modes.
STEP 7- Review all the entered information, submit the application form, and download or print the confirmation page for future reference.
The Karnataka UGNEET counselling process is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, and AYUSH courses in participating institutions across the state. Only candidates who have qualified for NEET UG 2026 are eligible to participate in the counselling process, provided they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
The registration deadline has now been extended to July 30. Consequently, eligible candidates who were previously unable to apply have another opportunity to secure a spot in the Karnataka UGNEET 2026 counselling process for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH programs for the 2026-27 academic year.
