KEA Extends NEET PG Mop-Up Round Fee Payment, Reporting Deadline
Karnataka- The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has once again extended the deadline for fee payment and reporting to college for the National Eligibility Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling mop-up round for the academic year 2024. Earlier the fee payment was scheduled till 04 February 2025 and the reporting process till 05 February 2025.
As per the revised dates, candidates who have been allotted seats but have not yet paid the college fees can now do so by February 7 and report to the institute by February 8, 2025. The dates have been revised after the Karnataka High Court ordered KEA to cancel seats allotted to ‘ineligible’ candidates in the Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024 mop-up round, reprimanding it for violating its own brochure for postgraduate medical admissions.
Originally, the last date for fee payment and download of admission order was scheduled from 28 January 2025 to 03 February 2025 and to report at the allotted college by 04 January 2025, 5.30 PM along with photocopies of all documents as per the downloaded admission order and verification slip.
IMPORTANT NOTE
1 Original documents will be returned to the seat not allotted to candidates based on their request and only the candidate has to be present to collect the original documents by producing the original verification slip and ID card.
2 Candidates should not claim any ignorance on the allotment of seats and they should not reject the allotted seats since the seat is allotted to candidates based on the options entered by them and order of merit.
3 Penalty will be applicable as per rules to the candidates who wish the surrender the seat after the announcement of results, then only the original documents will be returned.
4 Hence the candidates are advised to enter the options carefully in the order of preference.
