KEA notifies on Round 3 NEET counselling, details

Karnataka- Through a notification, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has informed regarding the 3rd round of seat allotment for UG Medical and Dental courses under the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) for the academic year 2025.
Eligible candidates can participate in this round by following the updated fee deposit and option entry guidelines provided by KEA.
According to the notice, candidates who wish to take part in the 3rd round must pay the Medical Course Fee Deposit or Caution Deposit as per their seat category.
The fee payment window is already open from October 7, 2025, 12:00 PM to October 13, 2025, 12:00 PM. Candidates are required to deposit the prescribed amount based on their category as mentioned below-

1 | Government (‘G’). | ₹1,00,000. | Required for Government quota seats |
2 | Private (‘P’). | ₹12,00,117. | Applicable for Private quota seats |
3 | NRI / Other (‘N’/‘Q’). | ₹25,00,000. | For NRI/Other quota seats |
However, it is to be noted that the candidates who have already paid the caution deposit earlier need not repay it. They must ensure their Medical Course Fee Deposit is updated for the 3rd round to confirm eligibility.
OPTION ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
Option entry for the 3rd round will remain active during the same period as the fee payment from October 7 to October 13, 2025. Candidates are advised to carefully prioritise their college and course preferences. Once entered, the options cannot be altered after the deadline.
KEA has cautioned that candidates who fail to make the required deposits within the given time frame will not be considered for seat allotment in the 3rd round.
ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES
Candidates who have already been allotted seats in previous rounds (Choice 1 or 2) can participate in the 3rd round only if they meet the eligibility and deposit criteria.
Once a seat is allotted in the 3rd round, the previous allotment will automatically be cancelled.
There will be no further rounds after the completion of the 3rd round for UG NEET 2025 in Karnataka.
The fee must be deposited within the prescribed timeline; no extensions will be entertained.
