KEA notifies on seat cancellation, Extends Date Of Submission Of Documents, Reporting for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH candidates
Karnataka: KEA has announced that the date of submission of original documents and reporting to the allotted college has been extended for medical, dental, AYUSH undergraduate courses and also notified on date of cancellation of seats of round 2.
Candidates can submit the original documents till 4:00 pm today and report to the allotted college till 17th March 2022, 5:00 pm. They must carry all the documents in original and a self-attested copy to the verification center. Candidates who complete the verification process successfully are issued an acknowledgment slip.
Candidates who have been allotted Government seats in private medical colleges and private seats in private medical colleges and non-Karnataka candidates who have been allotted a private / management medical or dental seat in private colleges and also private AYUSH seat in AYUSH colleges needs to submit the documents.
KEA has further notified that candidates allotted seats in round 2 of the counselling process for medical, dental, AYUSH courses can cancel their allotted seats till 19th March 2022 till 12:00 pm. For this, candidates will have to visit KEA Bangalore with the documents mentioned in the annexure. Candidates can refer to the information bulletin published on the website for penalty details.
Documents to be submitted for seat cancellation –
1. Verification slip ( original).
2. Allotment result or admission order.
3. Demand Draft for Rs.10,000/- in favor of Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore being the penalty amount ( if the candidate has not paid any fees to KEA).
4. Account Details with Bank Passbook copy.
5. Aadhar Card or any ID proof with one set of Xerox.
NEET UG counselling is held online for admission across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. The counselling comprises two rounds and a mop-up round which is conducted if any seats are left vacant after round 2.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts undergraduate courses counseling, including Medical, AYUSH, Dental Degrees based on NEET UG score/ rank list. KEA conducts counselling for 85% state quota and 100% private colleges seats.
