KEA Releases NEET 2024 1st Round Seat Allotment Schedule, Instructions For Candidates
Karnataka- The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for the selection of choices, payment of fees, submission of original documents and reporting to the college by candidates who have been allotted seats through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 in the 1st round.
As per the schedule, the process of selection of choices, payment of fees, submission of original documents and reporting at the college has already started and will continue till 05 September 2024 at 05:30 PM.
Below is the complete schedule-

3 | Deposition of original documents (at KEA, Bangalore in person) along with two sets of attested photocopies of all the documents, only for Choice-1 fee-paid candidates. *Who should submit the original documents — please read the instructions. | 02-09-2024 to 04-09-2024 10.30 am to 4.00 pm |
4 | Downloading of admission order only by Choice-1, after payment and after deposition of original documents. | From 02-09-2024 to 05-09-2024 |

Along with this, KEA has also released important instructions regarding the caution deposit for the candidates for the Medical 2nd Round Seat Allotment. Below are the important instructions-
1 Caution deposit is not required for UG Dental, AYUSH etc seat.
2 Seat allotted in UGNEET 1st round Medical, Dental and AYUSH seat selected Choice-2 and paid the fees, need not pay the Caution Deposit.
3 Choice-3 opted candidates in the 1st round and candidates entered the options in the 1st round but were not allotted any seat in 1st round and willing to participate in the 2nd round for UG Medical seat 2024 should pay the Caution Deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- to become eligible to participate in the 2nd round.
4 All category candidates including SC, ST, CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 38, General and others should pay the caution deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- to become eligible to participate in the 2nd round.
5 Caution Deposit should be paid online. DDs will not be accepted.
6 If a candidate gets the medical seat, the caution deposit paid by the candidate will be adjusted towards the fee.
7 If a candidate gets the medical seat in the 2nd round and fails to pay the balance fees or fails to report to the college, the caution deposit paid by the candidate will be forfeited and the candidate has to pay the complete first-year fee to KEA as per rules.
8 The fee paid at KEA for other courses, will not be considered as a caution deposit.
9 Schedule to pay the caution deposit will be notified later.
Meanwhile, candidates who have paid the caution deposit will only be allowed to re-order options based on the first-round choice selection for 2nd round. If a candidate fails to pay the caution deposit to participate in the 2nd round for UG medical seats, such candidates will not be considered for 2nd round medical seat allotment even if they have entered the medical options in the 1st round.
