KEA Releases NEET 2024 2nd Round counselling Schedule, Instructions For Candidates
Karnataka- The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for the selection of choices, payment of fees, submission of original documents and reporting to the college by candidates who have been allotted seats through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 in the 2nd round.
Consequential vacancies which arise in the second round seat allotment process will also be offered in the second round itself, candidates are advised to retain the seats even if it is not shown in the seat matrix as candidates will have a chance of getting a better seat if they have entered the options.

Along with this, KEA has also released important instructions regarding the caution deposit for the candidates for the Medical 2nd Round Seat Allotment. Below are the important Updates on CAUTION DEPOSIT-
Schedule is published in the KEA Website to pay the caution deposit from 09-09-2024 to 11-09-2024.
All the eligible candidates who have exercised Choice-2 (paid fees), Choice-3 and seat not allotted candidates will be allowed to re-order options based on the first round CHOICE selection for second round from 08-09-2024 to 11-09-2024.
Eligible candidates willing to participate in the second round for UG Medical seat 2024 should pay the Caution Deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- (One Lakh only) to become eligible to participate in the second round. (Rs.50,000/- Fifty thousand for SC / ST candidates)
If a candidate fails to pay the caution deposit to participate in the second round for UG medical seats, such candidates will not be considered for second round medical seat allotment even if they have retain / reorder the medical options of first round.
If a candidate gets the medical seat, the caution deposit paid by the candidate will be adjusted towards the fee. If a candidate gets the medical seat in the second round and fails to pay the balance fees or fails to report to the college, caution deposit paid by the candidate will be forfeited and the candidate has to a the complete first year fee to KEA as per rules.
