KNRUHS Informs on Round 2 Web Options For PG Medical Admission, 443 Seats Available
Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) informed about exercising web options for the second phase of counseling for PG Medical admissions under competent authority quota into affiliated medical colleges & NIMS.
Corrigendum to provisional final merit of nonservice candidates, list of candidates claiming reservation under a person with disability quota, and updated list of non-joined candidates after the first phase of counseling have also been released. The detailed lists are enclosed in the notices below.
All the eligible candidates (Non-Service) whose names are displayed in the provisional final merit list on the KNR UHS website can exercise web options as per eligibility for admission into PG Medical Degree / Diploma seats from 08.00 am on 05-11-2022 to 01.00 pm on 06-11-2022.
Eligibility -
1. The candidates who were allotted PG seats in the first phase of counseling and joined the course are also eligible to exercise web options and are informed to exercise web options.
Non-eligibility –
1. The Candidates who were allotted seats in the first phase of counseling and have not reported/discontinued the course at the respective college are not eligible for exercising options.
2. Candidates who have not exercised web options in the first phase of counseling are also not eligible to exercise web options.
3. Candidates admitted after the second phase of the counseling in All India Counselling and Dr.NTRUHS counseling are not eligible to exercise web options.
University fee - Allotted candidates must pay the University fee of Rs.29600 by an online payment gateway and download the allotment letter. Candidates who have already paid the university fee in the 1st phase need not pay again.
Tuition fee - Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges. The tuition fee payable as notified by the Government of Telangana in GO Ms. No:20 HM& FW Dept.Dated:14.04.2020 (notified on the website) and interim orders of Hon'ble High Court of Telangana in WP.No.6799 of 2021.
Competent Authority Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges will only be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Competent Authority Quota seats in other Medical Colleges. The allotment of seats will be made in accordance with the existing Government orders (notified on the KNRUHS website on 05-09-2022) and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon'ble High Court orders.
Instructions to Candidates -
1. Eligible candidates per the provisional final merit list can exercise web options for Post Graduate seats in all affiliated Medical colleges and NIMS, Hyderabad, as per their eligibility, interest, and priority.
2. Candidates are advised to go through the prospectus of KNRUHS and NIMS and the Government orders on rules of PG admissions available on the website before exercising web options for the regulations.
3. There is no limit of choices (number) for exercising web options; candidates can exercise web options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested in joining as per the candidate's eligibility.
4. Candidates are advised to exercise web options for PG seats in all courses and colleges in which they are interested in joining, irrespective of available seats shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies will arise during the counseling process due to sliding of candidates from allotted seats in the first phase of counseling to other seats as per their web options in the second phase of counseling.
5. If a PG seat is allotted in this phase of counseling as per web options exercised by the candidate, the seat allotted in 1st phase of counseling will be automatically canceled and allotted to the other candidate. Therefore the candidates are informed to exercise web options carefully for sliding with awareness of this fact.
6. Admitted candidates are not permitted to withdraw from the course after the second phase of counseling. Candidates are also informed that admitted candidates who have joined up to round 2 of All India quota and State Quota shall not be eligible for further rounds of All India Quota and State Quota.
7. Candidates can exercise web options through a computer either from home / any other place having an internet facility. Don't use mobiles and Tabs for exercising web options.
8. One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile when saving web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z (for details, read instructions to the candidates before giving options.
9. Candidates are instructed to take a printout of saved options.
10. Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after allotment of the seat if allotted. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on the website.
11. The selected candidates shall download the allotment letter from the website after payment of the University fee by payment gateway by using an online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of the respective college on or before the last date specified on the allotment letter.
12. Final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be canceled, and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.
13. Selected candidates must report at the respective colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates and the relevant bonds, and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the admission process. Suppose the candidate does not fulfill the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date. In that case, the admission will be canceled automatically, and the candidate will not be permitted to exercise web options for subsequent rounds to prevent seat blocking.
14. If the candidate slides to another college during the second phase of counseling, the original certificates will be sent to the college concerned after the closure of admissions. Candidates have to get relieved from the first phase, join the college, obtain a custodian certificate, collect fees and report to the allotted college before the last date of joining. Candidates who do not join the course at the allotted college in this phase of counseling are not eligible for further phases of counseling.
15. Admitted candidates will have to pay a discontinuation penalty of Rs.50 lakhs as per Government Orders if they discontinue the course after the second phase of counseling to get their original certificates back. Candidates also will be debarred for 3 years for PG Medical admission under KNRUHS to prevent seat blocking.
