Hyderabad: Through a recent notice, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, (KNRUHS) has invited online applications for admission into undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani and Naturopathy under Competent Authority Quota for 2020-21 in the state of Telangana.

Note:
1.Applications will be through online mode only. No offline application procedure is available.
2. All further Notification will be issued by the University on website. No Individual intimations will be sent

Regulations for admission into BAMS / BHMS, BNYS and BUMS courses for the academic year 2020-21 under Competent Authority Quota
Regulations:
The following are the Regulations for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS AND BUMS Courses in all the AYUSH Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS for the academic year 2020-21 under Competent Authority Quota seats i.e., the seats in Government AYUSH Colleges (after exclusion of 15% seats transferred to All India Quota and Government of India ) and Category 'A' seats in Private Unaided AYUSH Colleges affiliated to KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal.
1.Fee structure will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.
2. Eligibility for admission into BAMS/ BHMS/ BNYS and BUMS:
a)The candidates who fulfil the following criteria shall apply for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS and BUMS courses online for competent authority quota seats in colleges affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal.
b)The candidate should be an Indian National or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holder and should satisfy the Local or Non- local status in Telangana (Residence requirement) as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.Ms.No.170 HM&FW(E1)Dept.
c)Qualifications for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / and English.
• OC candidates including candidates seeking EWS reservation should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
• BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
• OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.
d) Qualifications for admission into BUMS course as per regulations of Central Council of Indian Medicine.
Admissions to Kamil-E-TIB-Wa-Jarahat course: A candidate seeking admission to main Kamil-E-Tib-Wa-Jarahat (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery – B.U.M.S.) Course must have passed.
i.Intermediate 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually for general Category and 40% marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward classes. OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.
and
ii. The candidate should have passed 10th/Intermediate with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject or clear the test of Urdu of 10th/Intermediate (wherever there is provision to conduct of such test) in the entrance examination conducted by the University or Board or Registered Society or Association authorized by the Government to conduct such examination
(or)
The Pre - Tib examination of one year duration
Note: Candidates possessing qualification of the University/Board or an institution outside the State should enclose a certificate of equivalence from Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination with subjects of Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana.
3. Eligibility conditions in respect of candidates whose domicile of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh
i. The candidate shall satisfy the Local / Non local status as per GO.No.646 Education (W1) department dated 10-07-1979 and Presidential order. The procedure indicated in the above G.O for selection of candidates as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated 18-05-2009, G. O. Ms. No.170, HM&FW (E1) Dept. subsequent amendments and relevant Hon'ble High Court orders shall be followed
The Non local candidates are eligible for 15% unreserved seats only. The local candidates are also eligible for 15% unreserved seats along with 85% seats reserved for local area.
ii. The verification and registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying online for determining state merit position in respective categories for Competent Authorityseats.
iii. Reservation in favour of the local candidates
a.Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edn. (W1) Department,dt.10-7-1979.
b.State-wide COURSES (BUMS, BNYS):
Admission into State wide colleges shall be regulated as per the provisions in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 for State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-IV of GO (P) No. 646, Education (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.
iv. Local Area:
a.The part of the State comprising the Districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasham shall be regarded as the local area for the purposes of admission to the Andhra University, **(Nagarjuna University) and to any other education institution (other than a State-wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.
b.The part of the State comprising the Districts of Adilabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Warangal shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of admission to the OsmaniaUniversity, ** (the Kakatiya University) and to any other educational institution (other than a Statewide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.
c.The part of the State comprising the Districts of Ananthapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor and Nellore shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of admission to Sri Venkateswara University and to any other educational institution (other than a State-wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.
d.A Candidate for admission shall be regarded as local candidate in relation to a local area.
- If he/she studied in an Educational Institution or Educational Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared inrelevant qualifying examination.
or
- Where during the whole or any part of the 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in Educational Institutions, if he/she had resided in that local area for a period of not less than 4 years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination, in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared.
or
e.A candidate who is not regarded as a local candidate under sub-regulation (5.4.4) above in relation to any local area shall
- If he/she has studied in educational institutions in the State for a period of not less than 7 consecutive academic years ending with academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination be regarded as local candidate in relation to:
A) Such local area where he/she has studied for the maximum period out of the said period of 7 years.
B) Where the period of his/her study in two or more local areas are equal, such local area where he/she has last studied in such equal periods
Or
- If during the whole or any part of the seven consecutive academic years ending with academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in the educational institution in any local area, but he/she has resided in the State during the whole of the said period of 7 years be regarded as a local candidate in relation to
A) Such local area where he/she has resided for the maximum period out of the said period of 7 years.
Or
B) Where the period of his/her residence in two or more local areas are equal, such local area where he/she has resided last in such equal periods.
N.B.: Relevant certificates must be uploaded along with the application in respect of their claim. In respect of proof of 10 years residence, the certificate should be obtained from the Revenue Authorities not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer/Tahsildar.
NOTE: Candidates from other states are not eligible for Competent Authority Quota
4.Online Applications:
i. The on-line application form for determining merit position in respective categories for Competent Authority quota seats using NEET UG – 2020 scores will be available on the website https://tsbahnu.tsche.in/ from 8 .00 AM on 13-01 -2021 upto 8 .00 PM. on 20-01 -2021
Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions
ii. The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required for through computer/mobile with data connection. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection or mobile with data connection. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) (step-1) and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the necessary certificates, photo and signature after the payment of application fee through Online.
5. Registration Fee:
The registration fee is Rs. 2,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC/BC categories and Rs.2,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST categories shall be paid online through Debit card/ Credit card or Net Banking.**.
**Registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.
The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify for eligibility under local/non local category.
6. Counseling
a. Final merit list will be displayed on KNRUHS website after scrutiny of original certificates and application. Notification for exercising web options will be issued separately on KNRUHS website only. No individual communications will be sent. Candidates are informed to check the website regularly for notifications.
b. On-line application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories using NEET– UG – 2020 Rank.
7. University fee : Candidates have to pay the University fee of Rs 8,000=00 by way of payment gate way and obtain the allotment letter.
8. Tuition Fee will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.
9. Discontinuation fee: Candidates cannot discontinue from the course after notification for final round of web-counseling/notification for last date of free exit or later. Candidates have to pay Bond amount of Rs. 1, 00,000/- ( Rupees One Lakh only) if they discontinue the course after notification of final round of counseling or later.
10. Closure of admissions: The admission shall be closed as per CCIM/CCH schedule. Any vacancy after closure of admission or that arises after closure of admission shall not be filled.
