KNRUHS Notifies PG Medical Candidates on Discontinuation deadline, details
Telangana- Through a notification, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has informed all service candidates admitted under the competent authority quota to PG medical courses for the academic year 2024-25 that candidates who want to discontinue the course in which they have taken admission can do so by tomorrow i.e. 24th January 2025 upto 04.00 P.M.
The candidates have also been informed that if they discontinue the course after 04.00 P.M on 24-01-2025 onwards, a penalty clause will be applicable with payment of the tuition fee for the entire course and Rs.50,00,000/- of Bond amount and debarred from admission into PG Medical courses under KNRUHS for 3 years.
Along with this, KNRUHS through the notification has also informed all the Principals of Medical Colleges that they can relieve any Service candidate who wants to discontinue from the course from Competent Authority Quota admissions for 2024-25 on written application from the candidate by tomorrow under intimation to the University. They are also informed to return the Original Certificates, Bonds and Tuition fees without any penalty.
Accordingly, all the Principals of Medical Colleges are hereby instructed that they should upload the details of any such discontinued candidates to the PMT Online portal by 04.30 P.M. on 24 January 2025 without fail.
KNRUHS is a public university in the city of Warangal, Telangana. The university is named after its poet and political activist, Telangana Kaloji Narayana Rao. It was established after the formation of the State of Telangana by adopting the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences Act vide G.O.M s No. 20 HM&FW (Cl) Department Dated: 26 September 2014 with headquarters at Warangal. The University offers Undergraduate, Post Graduate, Super Specialty, Doctoral courses and Post Doctoral Courses in various branches of Health Sciences with a good intake of students.
