Maha CET Cell: 10001 Seats Vacant For MBBS, BDS Courses For Group A
Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has released the provisional seat matrix and merit list for MBBS and BDS Courses in Govt./Govt. Aided/Corp./Private/Minority Medical/Dental Colleges – Group A.
10001 vacant seats are there for MBBS and BDS courses for Group A. MBBS has 7324 seats, and BDS has 2677 seats vacant.
The total number of seats available in government medical colleges is 4,154 across 10 medical colleges. This includes seats reserved for various categories such as SC, ST, VJ, N1, N2, N3, OBC, EWS, and Open category. Additionally, there are seats reserved for minority groups, hilly areas, and other special categories.
Similarly, there are 3170 MBBS seats in private medical colleges
For BDS private dental colleges have 2400 seats while there are 275 seats available in government medical colleges

The seat position is subject to change as per information from Institute/ MUHS, Nashik/NMC/DCI/Order of Hon’ble Courts/ State/ Central Government. The government / CET Cell Commissioner may change this seat position before the allotment of seats in CAP round(s). The seat will be allotted after receiving affiliation from MUHS, Nashik or the respective Council.
The provisional merit list has also been released for Group A. The list includes NEET All India Rank, NEET Roll No, CetCell Online Form Number, Name of the Candidate, Gender, Category, NRI, and Specified Reservation. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
Details issued regarding merit list -
1. NRI - subject to Approval from ARA
2. PWD - Subject to Eligibility from Medical Board
3. Constitutional & Specified Reservation - Admission Subject to Submission of Documents
4. Course-wise eligibility for admissions to Health science courses is as per Information Broucher NEET UG 2023
5. The Provisional Merit List is based on the information provided by the Candidate in the Registration Form
6. The admission will take place only after the verification of Original Certificates at the admitting College
7. The benefit of reservation will only be available upon production and successful verification of the requisite documents
