Maha CET Cell Announces Revised Provisional State Merit List Of In-Service Candidates For NEET-PG Admission
Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell announced the revised provisional state merit list of in-service candidates of NEET-PG-2022 for Maharashtra only for 20% in-service quota.
The merit list consists of Prov Inser SML, NEET PG 2022 Rank, NEET PG Score, Roll No, Category, and Cet Cell NEET PG App. No, and Name of The Candidate. A total of 152 candidates are there on the merit list.
The candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be called for the counselling process. The counselling process is carried out in two rounds, i.e., round 1 and round 2. A mop-up band will be carried out if seats remain vacant after round 2. This is prepared based on the NEET PG 2022 examination marks.
Selection of the candidates will be based on the choices filled in the preference form and rank obtained in the state merit list. Candidates wishing to retain the seats must report to the institute before the deadline.
Eligibility criteria –
1. Candidate must be an Indian National.
2. Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except NRI quota seats in Unaided Private and Private Minority Medical Colleges, subject to fulfilment of NRI status and other relevant eligibility criteria.
3. The candidate must have passed the final MBBS degree course examination from Maharashtra State College and completed one year of internship training by 31st July 2022 from a recognized medical college.
4. The candidate should be NEET PG qualified.
NEET PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as a single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.
The Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that Maha CET Cell had postponed the second CAP Round - II for Government/ Corporation/ Government Aided /Unaided Private/Minority Dental/Medical Colleges for NEET PG and NEET MDS admission. This is because the list of joined candidates of AIQ is not received yet. For NEET PG, the list of eligible in-service candidates is not received from DHS, so the second CAP Round – II was postponed. The revised CAP round II schedule will be declared in due course.
