Maha CET Cell begins NEET Counselling 2025, Apply NOW

Maharashtra- Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell has officially started the registration process for National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling for the academic year 2025. Eligible candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 exam can now apply for counselling through the official website of MAHACET.

The registration window is open till July 30, 2025. Applicants are advised to complete their application, fee payment and document upload before the deadline. Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2025 will be conducted in multiple stages depending on merit and availability of seats. Through this counselling, candidates can secure their medical seats in Maharashtra.

STEPS TO REGISTER FOR THE MAHARSHTRA NEET UG COUNSELLING 2025

STEP 1- Click on NEET-UG 2025 counselling link.

STEP 2- Register using NEET UG roll number and create a password.

STEP 3- Fill in the online application form with personal, academic, and NEET score details.

STEP 4- Upload scanned documents including NEET scorecard, photo, signature, Class 10 and 12 certificates, domicile, caste (if applicable), etc.

STEP 5- Pay the non-refundable registration fee online.

STEP 6- Submit and take a printout of the application for reference.

ELIGIBILITY

1 Qualified NEET UG 2025.

2 Completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

3 Met the domicile requirements for Maharashtra (for state quota seats)

4 Possessed relevant documents for verification.

DOCUMENTS

The following documents are required for the Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025-

1 Domicile Certificate.

2 Copy of filled Online Application Form.

3 Medical fitness certificate.

4 NEET-UG Mark sheet.

5 Copy of NEET UG Admit card.

7 Nationality certificate issued by District Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate.

8 H.S.C. (or equivalent) examination marksheet.

9 SSC (or equivalent) passing certificate (for Date of Birth).

10 Aadhar Card.

This counselling process is being conducted for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS in government, government-aided, corporation and private institutions in Maharashtra.

SELECTION PROCESS

Candidates as per allotment should report along with all original certificates and a set of attested photocopies of each document, at allotted college as per the schedule. The Dean/Principal should verify all the original documents before finalizing the admission. Candidate will have to compulsorily join the college and course so allotted, within prescribed period as per schedule by completing the requisite formalities. i.e., submission of all original documents and a set of attested photocopies of each document and payment of requisite fees in respective institution.

DISQUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION

1 The candidate who was allotted a seat in any course under MUHS Nashik in previous year(s) and who vacates / abandons it after availing the said seat, has completed such a period of course which would result into lapse of the said seat.

2 Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik shall take the decision regarding eligibility and granting of the term of selected candidates. The selection of a candidate by the Competent Authority at a later date does not place any onus to accord approval for grant of term.

REFUND OF FEES BY THE COLLEGE AFTER CHANGE OF COLLEGE / COURSE OR CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION

The candidate who has been admitted and desires to cancel admission he/she should submit an application. The refund of fees to candidate admitted in the college shall be made after deduction as under-

1 Before cutoff date as declared by the respective council - Rs.1500/- (Rs. One thousand five hundred only) to be deducted and rest of the fees to be refunded.

2 On or after cut-off date as declared by respective council no refund of fees for Health Science Courses.

3 The Dean/Principal of the college shall be responsible for making refund of the fees, on the basis of cancellation letter from the candidate. If the candidate expires or becomes invalid within 90 days from the date of admission, no deduction shall be made.

Meanwhile, only the following candidates will be eligible for admission to NRI quota as NRI candidates-

1 Candidate is himself / herself NRI.

2 Candidates whose parents are NRI.

3 Candidates who are ward of NRI.

Candidates who fullfill the above criteria and wish to apply as NRI candidates should register themselves on MAHACET after payment of fees (50 USD). Further after verification of documents and ascertaining of eligibility and payment of (1150 USD) processing of the application will take place. If the payment of (50 + 1150 USD) is not received the candidate will not be considerd for subsequent admission process. The appliction number shall be used for registration on CAP portal.

NRI CANDIDATES DOCUMENTS

NRI candidates will require following documents for claiming NRI quota-

1 Certificate issued by an Indian Mission/Post abroad regarding Non Resident Indian status of candidate /Parents / Guardian.

2 Passport, Nationality certificate of candidate and Parents / Guardian.

3 In Case of Guardian, certificate issued by the court having power to make order as to guardianship.

4 True copy of foreign bank account passbook (copies of main page indicating bank name and address, name and address, with entries of last preceding 6 months prior to admission) of Candidate / Parents / Guardian.

5 Foreign Candidate Registration Portal Receipt.
