Maha CET Cell informs on Last Date Of Joining, Filling Of Status Retention For Ayush, BSc Nursing UG Courses
Maharashtra: Through a written notice, the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has informed that the last date of joining & filling of status retention for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and B.Sc. (Nursing) for courses CAPÂ1 (State Quota) has been extended.
CAP 1 candidates can now join till 19th February 2022 and fill the status retention till the same date. Previously the date was 16th February 2022. This extension is given in view of the notice published by AACCC, New Delhi, and representations received from candidates by eÂmail to State CET Cell regarding the extension of the joining date of CAPÂ1. No further Extension for joining & filling status retention will be given to the candidates.
The Maharashtra state Ayush counselling is organized by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra. Admission in Ayush Courses is based on the NEET scorecard, and only NEET qualified candidates can apply or participate in counselling. The candidates must be a domicile of Maharashtra and have completed the 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from the recognized educational institution.
Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology, and English. Minimum 50% marks are required for the general category, 40% for SC/ST category, and 45% for the physical handicap category.
The preference can be filled by the candidates who are found eligible during document verification and receives acknowledgment of document verification. Once the choices are filled, the candidates cannot edit or change their preferences. There is no limit to filling the preferences. The last date to fill in the preferences was 8th February 2022 and 1st selection list was declared on 10th February 2022.
Candidates who are not allotted seats in round 1 or are not happy with the seats in round 1 can appear for round 2. The schedule for round 2 and subsequent rounds will be published in due course.
