Maha CET Cell Informs on Refund Process for NEET PG, NEET MDS candidates, details
Maha CET Cell has informed the candidates that the MCC portal will publish the candidate-wise refund details for NEET PG and NEET MDS on or before 28.2.2023. The State CET Cell portal will announce the refund dates accordingly.
As per the notice, after the completion of PG/MDS 22 counselling, the State CET Cell has commenced the refund of the security deposit to eligible PG/MDS 22 candidates. The security amount will be refunded to the same account/ card from where the candidate initially deposited the security amount. The candidates need to keep the account active for the refund process.
The candidates need to keep track of the official website for further updates on the refund process.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, read with 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, is valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.
National Board of Examinations conducts the NEET PG exams in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), established in 1975 to improve the quality of Medical Education by establishing high and uniform standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine on an All India Basis and utilizing existing healthcare infrastructure for capacity building.
The government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that Maha CET Cell has informed that registration for foreign candidates for equivalence of foreign degrees/certificates for the academic year 2023-24 has begun. Candidates who have completed their Diploma/Degree from a Foreign University must get it verified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The Foreign Board seeking equivalence of qualifications/ examinations/ certificates/courses from AIU will submit their applications in prescribed proforma on AIU Portal.
