Maha CET Cell issues instructions for CAP, Mop up round NEET candidates, Details
Maharashtra: Through a written notice Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released Instructions to the Candidates & Colleges Regarding CAP / MoP UP Round for NEET UG counselling.
As per the recent notification, the candidates allotted a seat in the CAP/MoP UP round must report to the respective college as per schedule. The following documents have to be brought –
1. Original certificates
2. Xerox set
3. Requisite fees
The candidate should note that selection will be confirmed only after verifying original documents at the time of physical joining.
Candidates reporting in the allotted college are eligible for subsequent rounds provided they do not fill the retention form and are eligible as per the information brochure. The college admission committee should be informed of any mistakes made by the candidates while filling out the application form.
The candidate will be considered not joined after the college admission committee will verify all the original documents as per claimed quota in the allotment letter in the feedback module with the right reason with the original category or claim of the candidate.
For the reserved category, the candidates who fail to submit required documents as per the respective category will not be allowed to join. The candidates will be considered an open category or changed reserved category for further rounds. Such candidates will be considered for selection in subsequent rounds on the available seat as per merit and preferences filled by them. However, the candidate will have to fulfill the open category/ change reserved category's eligibility criteria and the NEET UG's eligibility criteria.
The corrected claim of the candidate will be changed in the next round if found eligible. Candidates should be issued a system-generated receipt/acknowledgment by the college where they are taking admission. If the candidates fail to join/report within the prescribed period, they will be considered not joined and will not be considered for further CAP rounds.
