Maha CET Cell issues notice on choice filling for admissions at newly NMC permitted medical college, Details
Maharashtra: Through a written notice, the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has informed about the preference filling process for the newly permitted Government Medical College, Sindhudurg, for MBBS.
As per the notice, National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi, has issued a letter of permission, and the Government of Maharashtra has issued a government resolution for Government Medical College, Sindhudurg, 65, Near Collector Office, Sindhudurg Nagari, Sindhudurg, 416812. The permission is granted for a total of 100 seats for MBBS.
The admission process for NEET UG has started, and round 1 of admission was completed on 9th February 2022. However, Government Medical College preferences, Sindhudurg, were not included during the preference filling process conducted between 21st January 2022 and 28th January 2022.
Now the candidates who have filled the preferences for Medical and Dental colleges can add the preference for Government Medical College, Sindhudurg, in the preferences already filled. They can use their login id and password on the website www.mahacet.org for adding the preferences.
The college code is 1154 and should be inserted anywhere above the allotted preference of CAP 1 round as per choice. Candidates who were not allotted any seat in CAP 1 can insert the choice anywhere.
The candidates who have joined the allotted college during round 1 and filled out the status retention form should cancel their status retention online before adding/inserting the code of Government Medical College, Sindhudurg. If code is not inserted/added, cancellation of status retention will not be accepted.
The authorities have further notified that seat allotment to Government Medical College, Sindhudurg, will be done only after the relevant permission/affiliation is received from concerned authorities. This facility will be available from 13th February 2022 till 15th February 2022 up to 08.00 pm server time.
All the other preferences filled by the candidate will remain unchanged. If any candidate doesn't want to add this preference, previously filled preferences will remain unchanged. These preferences will be used for the subsequent admission rounds for Medical and Dental courses.
