Maha CET Cell Notifies NEET PG, NEET MDS Candidates on deadline for admission Cancellation Without Penalty
Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has notified the NEET PG and NEET MDS candidates about the prescribed last date of cancellation of admission without penalty.
As per the notice, the prescribed last date for cancellation of Post Graduate Medical and Dental admission without penalty in Government / Govt.Aided / Corporation / Private Unaided / Minority Medical and Dental College for academic year 2023-24 is 12-10-2023.
Any cancellation after this date will lead to a penalty as per the clause mentioned in the prospectus. The clause states that “Any candidate admitted either through All India Post Graduate quota or through NEET-PG 2023 state quota responsible for lapse of post graduate medical seat will have to pay non-refundable additional penalty of Rs. 10,00,000. Such candidate will not be eligible for admission through State Quota for subsequent two academic years, i.e. NEET PG 2024 & 2025. Any candidate resigning a seat from Unaided Private / Minority Medical College after the prescribed date will have to pay three year's fees as a penalty.”
The candidates who join the courses either through the All India Post Graduate quota or through the state quota should complete Junior residency tenure, failing which they will be required to pay a non-refundable Rs. 10,00,000 for non-completion of Junior residency tenure. However, this is not applicable to the candidates of NEET-MDS/NEET PG 2023 resigning from admission before the prescribed date as mentioned above.
The candidates joining Government / Municipal Corporation colleges for admission to Postgraduation courses either through All India Post Graduate quota or through the state quota will be required to sign a bond to serve the Government of Maharashtra or local self-government or Defence services for a period of one year (Social responsibility service), failing which they will be required to pay Rs. 50,00,000 for the default.
