MBBS admissions 2025: KNRUHS notifies on round 1 web options, last date September 18, check guidelines

Telangana- The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is going to conduct the first phase of web-based counselling under Competent Authority Quota (CQ) for admission into the MBBS course, including EWS, PWD, PMC, CAP categories, for the AY 2025-26 into Government, Private un-aided Minority/Non- Minority Medical Colleges in the State of Telangana.
As per the notification issued by the KNRUHS in this regard, all the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the final merit list, including PWD, PMC, CAP categories and EWS quota candidates on the KNRUHS website, can exercise web options for admission into the MBBS course from today, i.e. 16 September 2025, 6.00 AM up to 11.30 PM on 18 September 2025.
Candidates whose certificates were uploaded at the time of online registration and provisionally verified by staff of concerned departments and whose names are notified as eligible candidates in the final merit list of UG Medical Admissions on the KNRUHS website are eligible to exercise web options online from a computer with an internet connection.
UNIVERSITY FEE
Allotted Candidates have to pay the University fee of Rs 12,000/- for the MBBS Course through the payment Gateway by using the Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking) and download the allotment order.
TUITION FEE
Tuition fees are to be paid at the respective Medical colleges. The tuition fee is payable as notified by the Government of Telangana. For the Government Medical Colleges, candidates need to pay Rs 10,000/- per year and for the Private Medical colleges and ESIC, candidates need to pay Rs 60,000/- per year.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES
1 Eligible NEET-UG-2025 qualified candidates as per the final merit list for Competent Authority Quota can exercise web options for the MBBS course in the affiliated Medical colleges of KNRUHS as per their interest and priority from a computer with internet connection.
2 Candidates are advised to go through the Prospectus for the Regulations for admission into the MBBS course and Government Orders on Rules of Admission on the KNRUHS website before exercising web-options.
3 Competent Authority Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Competent Authority Quota seats in other Medical Colleges.
4 If a candidate is allotted a seat in the MBBS course as per his/her options and does not join the course, they shall not be permitted to exercise web options in subsequent phases of counselling to prevent seat blocking.
5 Candidates exercising web-options for the MBBS course are informed that there is no limit of choices (number) for exercising web-options. Candidates can exercise web options for any number of colleges the candidate is interested in joining, as per the candidate’s eligibility.
6 One time password will be sent to the registered mobile number at the time of exercising web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capital A to Z.
7 Candidates are instructed to take a printout of the saved options.
8 Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after allotment of a seat, if allotted. Candidates are directed to log in to check their allotment status on the website after each phase of counselling.
9 The selected candidates shall download the allotment order from the website after payment of the University fee by the gateway method by using the Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment and report to the Principal of the respective college on or before the date specified on the allotment order.
10 Selected candidates have to report to the Principal of the respective Medical college before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment order, to submit all original certificates, relevant bonds and to pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date for joining, the admission will be cancelled automatically and the candidate shall not be permitted to exercise web-options for subsequent phases of counselling and admission to prevent seat blocking.
11 Candidates are hereby informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted Medical College and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action will be initiated as per University regulations.
12 Original certificates submitted at the time of admission shall not be returned to the candidate, unless the candidate discontinues the course.
13 The University fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Moreover, candidates in the final merit list are informed that if they do not exercise web options in the first phase of counselling, they are not eligible to exercise web options in subsequent phases of counselling to prevent seat blocking.
Additionally, candidates are informed that if they exercise web-options for a seat and are allotted an MBBS seat as per their choice in the webcounseling and if they do not join the course at the allotted college, they will not be eligible for exercising web-options for subsequent rounds of counselling
