MBBS Admissions: AIIMS Kalyani issues reporting schedule for candidates, details

MBBS Admissions: AIIMS Kalyani issues reporting schedule for candidates, details

Kalyani: Through a recent notice, the AIIMS Kalyani has released the reporting schedule for MBBS candidates this year.

AIIMS Kalyani would conduct the MBBS admission for the year 2022 through the NEET UG examination following the guidelines of the online counseling being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The selected candidates should report to the institute as per the following schedule given by the MCC (subject to changes from the MCC):

10:00 am – 4: 30 pm on weekdays; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday.
Academic Section, Ground Floor, Administrative Block, AIIMS Kalyani, National Highway-34 Connector, Basantapur, Saguna, Kalyani, West Bengal 741245.
Second12th - 18th November, 2022
MOP- up4th December - 10th December, 2022

The candidates are advised to go through the NEET UG 2022 prospectus in the MCC website and AIIMS Kalyani MBBS 2022 prospectus available in the Institute website carefully. No candidates would be allowed for reporting without original certificates and any other requirements as notified by the Medical Counseling Committee. The candidates are also advised to bring one set of self- attested Xerox copies of all original certificates/ documents. The candidates may contact the following email id in case of any doubt/ difficulties – academics@aiimskalyani.edu.in .

Please note:

1. You have to report at the AIIMS Kalyani main gate beginning at 10:00 am 22.10.2022 and ending on28.10.2022 at 4:30 pm. (21st of October 2022 is Saturday - from 10:00 am to 12 noon; on 23rd and 24th of October are Sundays & Holidays - no document verification facility will be available). Lunch hour will be between 1 pm - 2 pm.

2. You have to declare to the on-duty security guard whether you have a fever/ cough/ pain in the throat or not. You would not be allowed to enter without a face cover/ mask.

3. Only 15 candidates with one accompanying person each, would be allowed inside the reporting room at a time. The rest of the candidates can wait near the sitting area near the cafeteria.

5. You would be required to submit the filled (attached) checklist and the undertaking at the appropriate places along with all necessary original documents with one set of self-attested photocopies.

6. Only hard copies of original documents would be accepted.

7. No admission fees have to be paid at the reporting date.

8. No Medical test reports/ fitness certificate is required on the reporting date.

NOTICE REGARDING MBBS ADMISSION

Candidates would follow the below protocol in view of the current pandemic situation to minimize the possibility of COVID-19 transmission during the reporting procedure.

• No candidate/guardian would be allowed inside AIIMS Kalyani campus without a face mask/cover.

• Any candidate/ guardian with a fever/ cough & cold/ pain in the throat should immediately declare the same to the security personnel at the entrance.

• Candidates should strictly follow the instructions of the on-duty security personnel regarding their movement inside the campus.

• Only one guardian would be allowed with the candidate inside the reporting room.

• Candidates should wait in the designated place maintaining social distancing until he/ she is called for reporting.

• Candidates can have refreshments from the college canteen and use the adjacent washrooms.

• Once the reporting procedure is over the candidates must leave the campus immediately. They should not roam around in the campus.
