MBBS, BDS 2021 registrations begin in JnK, Check out details
Srinagar: J&K Board of Professional Entrance Exam (BOPEE) has recently notified the date of registration for NEET UG-2021 qualifying candidates. The candidates can upload the documents and register online from 11th January 2022 to 16th January 2022.
The candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in NEET UG-2021 whose results were declared on 1st November 2021 can only register for the category status and preparation of the Provisional UT Merit List (PUTML). As mentioned in the recent notification, the provisional merit list is to be notified tentatively on 19th January 2022.
BOPEE, in their recent notification, has asked the candidates to submit the following documents –
- NEET-UG scorecard.
- 10+2 marks card.
- Domicile Certificate for candidates belonging to the UT of J&K and ST Category certificate for candidates belonging to the UT of Ladakh.
- Category Certificate, wherever required.
- Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation).
- The candidates belonging to the UT of Ladakh are required to upload Compulsory Service Bond (which shall be available in the information Brochure to be uploaded by the Board on the official website www.jkbopee.gov.in) that they will serve in UT of Lakadh for the prescribed period as may be decided by UT of Ladakh after completing MBBS/BDS degree.
While doing the online registration, BOPEE has notified that Student NEET Roll No, NEET Score, NEET Rank, Date of Birth, Gender, Category if any, Upload Compulsory Service Bond on prescribed format by the candidates of UT of Ladakh are compulsory to be filled.
The cut-off score for different categories is as under:-
- Open Merit (including JKPM/child of PMF/CDP/Sports/EWS/P&B) - 138
- Open Merit / EWS/PWD - 122
- SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP (for J&K/Ladakh) - 108
- SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP /(PWD) – 108
The tentative NEET score list of candidates of J&K, who have appeared in the NEET-UG 2021, has already been notified vide Notification No. 127-BOPEE of 2021 dated 15-11-2021 & Notice No. 082-BOPEE of 2021 dated 02-12-2021, which are available on the BOPEE website www.jkbopee.gov.in only.
In due course of time, the e-Information Brochure for NEET UG-2021 Courses shall be uploaded by the BOPEE on its website. The candidates are accordingly advised to go through the said e-Brochure before registration. Online filling up of Preference Forms with tentative seat matrix shall be uploaded soon. BOPEE has requested the candidates to remain in touch with the website of the Board.
BOPEE has issued the following guidelines for the candidates -
- Not to do registration through mobile and upload documents as the software will not accept the same.
- No under process certificate shall be entertained. The Board shall consider only such category certificates issued by the concerned Competent Authority up-to-the last date of registration.
- The candidate must fulfil all other criteria as laid down in the NEET-UG 2021 Information Bulletin of NTA and Information Brochure of BOPEE regarding NEET-UG, 2021 courses.
- Any candidate found ineligible at any point in time shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling process, notwithstanding the registration / NEET qualifying score.
- The candidates should upload their valid e-mail addresses/mobile numbers.
- Candidates are advised not to share e-mail passwords with another candidate/person.
- The Board shall not be responsible for any mistake committed by the candidates while making registration.
- After completing the registration process, the Board shall notify the Provisional UT Merit List (PUTML) of all the eligible candidates, which shall be used for online counselling by the candidates when filling up the preferences based on which allotment seat shall be made.
- Any candidate who falls within qualifying merit but does not register themself or does not upload the documents or the documents uploaded are deficient shall not be considered for allotment of any seat.
- The Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates are directed to upload and submit their valid PWD certificate in BOPEE Office Srinagar / Jammu, physically up to 16th January 2022 (3.00 PM).
- The candidates, who intend to participate against NRI/HM Quota seats in ASCOMS, Jammu/IDS, Sehora shall also have to register themselves online and submit all such documents offline in the Board office up to the date as may be notified by the Board separately.
