MBBS, BDS, Ayush Admissions 2021: DME Gujarat Round 2 Choice Filling, Allotment Schedule, Details
Gujarat: Through a written notice Director of Medical Education (DME) has released has informed about the counselling schedule, choice filling guidelines, and the procedure for admission confirmation for candidates seeking MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, admissions, round 2 newly added seat matrix of BAMS/BHMS courses, nonreported seat list of round 1, round 1 admission cancel candidate list in Gujarat this year.
Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses conducts the counselling process for UG medical, dental, and AYUSH courses in Gujarat.
The seats include Government, Management & NRI Seats for Dental and Medical, Government & Government Seats of Government, Grant in Aid & SFI of Ayurvedic and Homeopathy Courses in Government and Self-Financed Colleges.
NEET schedule 2021 (choice filling, seat allotment, payment of fees, document verification) –
1. Choice Filling – 28th February 5:00 pm till 5th March 2022 4:00 pm.
2. Display of choices filled by candidates - 5th March 2022 up to 12.00 am.
3. Payment of fees via online banking and at designated branches of HDFC Bank – 7th March 2022 12:00 pm till 11th March 3.30 pm.
4. Reporting & original document submission at help center -7th March 2022 12:00 pm till 12th March 2022 4:00 pm.
All the candidates included in the merit list of ACPUGMEC can participate in the 2nd and subsequent round, irrespective of the admission status of the candidates of the previous round. To participate in the 2nd and subsequent round, the candidates have to login into the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User-ID and Password to give online consent for participation in the 2nd and subsequent round.
In round 2, admission will be given on newly added seats, non-reported seats of round 1 & canceled seats after round 1, and subsequent vacant seats due to allotment on above seats.
According to the merit closure rule of UG admission rules, in the 2nd and subsequent round, the candidate will not be offered admission on the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of the previous round. Suppose any candidate does not participate in the last round in ACPUGMEC. In that case, the candidate will still not be offered admission on the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of the previous round.
After choice filling, ACPUGMEC will declare the result as per the merit number and choices filled by the candidate. Candidates can download their allotment letter and fees challan from their accounts. 1st they will have to log in using a user id and Password.
Candidates can pay the tuition fees or difference of fees of allotted college either by online payment mode through the official website of ACPUGMEC or by cash/ demand draft through a designated branch of the bank. Candidates can check the detailed list of bank branches on the website. After payment of tuition fees, students have to collect receipts generated from the ACPUGMEC portal in 2 copies and 2 copies of challan. The candidates, who have paid fees online, will have to visit directly to help the center with online receipt of fees payment.
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the NRI category for 1st time will have to pay Rs. 5.00 lakh (as Refundable Deposit) online or cash or demand draft in favor" of "ACPU" MEC" payable at Gandhinagar in the designated Hbank'snk's branches approved by ACPUGMEC. There are 74 branches of HDFC across Gujarat.
After that, candidates must confirm the admission by submitting original documents at the help center. There are 32 help centers across Gujarat for UG and PG Medical candidates.
The candidates can pay the prescribed tuition fees in US Dollars or amount in any other currency up to 03.00 pm on 17th March 2022 at the admitted institute. If any candidate fails to deposit this fee at the admitted institute in the stipulated time frame, the admission will be treated as canceled. ACPUGMEC will refund the deposit amount of Rs. 5.00 lakh after the completion of the whole admission process.
Candidates have to make a prior appointment for the document submission at the help center. Candidates can select the date and help center for document submission when printing the allotment letter. After payment of tuition fees, the candidates who have been allotted seats have to submit their original documents at the appointed help center. After payment of tuition fees or difference of tuition fees for confirmation of the admission of the upgraded seat, the candidate has to visit the same help center where he had confirmed the admission of the previous round with the following documents.
The candidates whose allotments have not been upgraded (no change in admitted college) in round 2 or subsequent round need not report at the help center.
The candidates, who have participated or not participated in round 2 and subsequent round, the admission of the previous round, can also be upgraded in the same college by changing the category or changing the quota; there is no need to report the help center for confirmation of admission.
The candidate, whose allotment has been upgraded in round 2 or subsequent round, has to report at the help center for confirmation of admission to get an admission order for that round. Otherwise, allotted admission of that round will be automatically canceled.
Suppose the candidate, who has confirmed the admission of the previous round and has given consent to participate in the 2nd and subsequent round, has been allotted a new different seat. In that case, the admission of round 1 will get automatically canceled. If candidates participate in round2 of ACPUGMEC and their admission is not upgraded, then admission of round 1 will be continued.
Online allotment of seats is done based on merit cum choice in institutes permitted by the concerned council. Candidates can choose based on the course of choice, institute/place of choice, government or self-financed institute, tuition fees. Candidates should fill all the available choices irrespective of the institution's status. During the allotment process, if any institute gets permission, they can get admission in that seat.
In the choice filling of the 2nd and subsequent round, allotment of seats will be carried out as per the closure of round 1, irrespective of choices filled in by the candidate of round 1. Closure of the present round will be displayed along with the allotment result. Suppose candidates fail to confirm the admission on the allotted seat due to any reason. In that case, such candidates shall not be allotted the same type of seats in the same institute in the successive rounds of counselling.
Documents required -
1. Allotment Letter of ACPUGMEC.
2. Receipt of Payment of Tuition Fee at Bank.
3. Tuition Fee Receipt generated 'hru' Admission Module.
4. Print Copy NEET-UG mark-sheet of the current academic year.
5. 10th and 12th mark sheet.
6. Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship.
7. Domicile Certificate (with signature and stamp of Authority) issued by competent authorities (Mamlatdar / Executive Magistrate / Commissioner of Police) of Gujarat State.
8. For SEBC, ST, and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by competent authorities of Gujarat State.
9. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate issued by competent authorities of Gujarat State.
10. For EWS Category: EWS certificate issued by competent authorities of Gujarat State.
11. Copy of Passport (if Citizenship is Dual).
12. Fitness Certificate.
13. Tuition fees consent.
14. Undertaking for joining to state quota seat - Take the print of soft copy available on admission committee website and submit.
Choice filling option details -
1. Under undergraduate admission, click on the Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy tab. A new window will appear on the computer screen(Undergraduate Admission, Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy).
2. Click on the Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
3. Click on Candidate Registration/Login. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
4. Enter user ID (Sr No. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha & Click on Submit button. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
5. Click on choice details 3 options will be displayed (available choice, fill choice, the print choice will appear). Available choice choices available can be seen. Infill choice choices can be filled. After locking the choice printout, the list can be taken in print choice.
6. Click on the available choice to start the process for choice filling. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
7. Choices can be filtered out based on the branch, institute, and seat type.
8. Click on fill choice to start the process for choice filling. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
9. Box 1: Filter choices. ( Branch: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Institute type: Blue color – Government and Grant-in-aid Institute; Green color – Self-financed institute, Seat type: GQ – Government, Management NRI Seat).
10. Box 2: add choices. An unlimited number of choices can be added.
11. Box 3: Re-arrange choices by serial number.
12. Box 4: delete all filled choices and start choosing new ones again.
13. Click add in the left side panel; the choice will be shifted to a right-side panel.
14. Save choice.
15. Save and exit.
16. After the save and exit choices page, the candidate can review choices. Click on modify choices to modify choices. After typing 14-digit PIN no., lock choices after clicking on lock choices.
17. Box 1: take a printout of locked choices.
18. Box 2: Unlock and modify filled choices after entering 14-digit PIN No. until the time and date decided by ACPUGMEC.
Round-2 newly added seat matrix of Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses –
Total 243 seats are allotted for Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses. A total of 131 seats are allocated to Ayurveda, and 112 seats are allocated to Homeopathy.
Non reported seat list of round 1 –
Total 2831 candidates are there on the list.
Round 1 admission cancel candidate list –
43 candidates are there on the list.
