MBBS, BDS, BAMS Admissions: CENTAC Invites Fresh Applications From Govt School Candidates, details
Puducherry: Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has invited fresh online applications from NEET UG Qualified candidates who have studied in Government schools of Govt. of Puducherry for admission to the first year MBBS, BDS & BAMS (Ayurveda) courses in Government and Self Financing Medical, Dental & Ayurveda colleges in the UT of Puducherry. Puducherry: Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has invited fresh online applications from NEET UG Qualified candidates who have studied in Government schools of Govt. of Puducherry for admission to the first year MBBS, BDS & BAMS (Ayurveda) courses in Government and Self Financing Medical, Dental & Ayurveda colleges in the UT of Puducherry.
The last date for submitting an online application is 08.09.2023, 10.00 am. Candidates, after submitting of fresh application, should submit their willingness to avail Govt. school's 10% reservation in their login dashboard. They should ensure that they are entering ALL INDIA COUNSELING RANK against NEET RANK while filling up the application.
The candidates note that fresh applications submitted by candidates other than Govt. school candidates of Govt. of Puducherry will be rejected.
Candidates who have studied in Government schools of Govt. of Puducherry and have already submitted CENTAC UG NEET applications are not required to submit fresh applications again. But they should submit a willingness to avail Govt. school 10% reservation along with a TC / Study Certificate with the particulars of schools studied from Standard 1 to 12, issued by the Principal from the school last studied in their login dashboard on or before 08.09.2023, 10.00 am. In addition to that, they should also check their eligibility as detailed below.
Application fee –
1. General / OBC / MBC / EBC /BCM /BT - Rs. 1000
2. SC / ST / PwD – Rs. 500
Eligibility –
1. Candidate should be Resident of Puducherry (should upload Residence certificate issued by Revenue dept., Puducherry)
2. Candidates should have qualified for NEET 2023
3. Candidates who have studied from Standard 1 to 12 in Govt. schools of Govt. of Puducherry in Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam regions alone are eligible
4. At the time of submitting the application, Candidates should enclose a TC / Study Certificate with the particulars of schools studied from Standard 1 to 12, issued by the Principal from the school last studied
