MBBS under Sports Quota in BHUFS: Check out Partial Modification Made In Admission Guidelines
Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has informed the NEET UG candidates who have applied under the Sports Category about the partial modification made in the guidelines issued for the admission process. The list of candidates who have applied for the sports category has also been released.
AS per BHUFS For admission under the sports category, credit shall be given only to the sports achievements made during session 2019-20. The candidates will be admitted based on their inter-se merit determined on the basis of gradation (Category A/B/C) issued by the Director of Sports, Punjab. However, for exempted categories under para 11 of this notification, the competent authority will be the Director of Sports of that State or UT from where the candidate has passed his class XI and XII examinations.
The notice reads, “Credit shall be given only for the sports achievements made during session 2019-20 to 2022-23. The admission shall be made on the basis of the inter-se merit of the candidates determined on the basis of gradation (Category A/B/C) issued by the Director of Sports, Punjab. However, for exempted categories under para 11 of this Notification, the competent authority will be Director, Sports of that State or U.T. from where the candidate has passed his class XI and XII examinations”.
The provisional merit list under the sports category will be prepared by the Director of Sports, Punjab. Therefore, the candidates who have applied under the Sports category for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses, session 2023 must submit 2 sets of Xerox/copy of the physical application form, Gradation Certificate in concern along with other academic certificates and other compulsory annexures mentioned in the Prospectus till 08.08.2023(03:00 PM) in the University office, failing which their candidature will not be considered for sports merit.
The list of candidates who have applied for the sports category has also been released. There are a total of 51 candidates who have applied for this category. The list includes Reg No, Name, Father’s Name, NEET Roll No, NEET Marks, NEET Rank, and Categories. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
