MCC Adds 29 MCh, DrNB Seats to NEET SS 2024 Round 2 Counselling Seat Matrix, details

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has added more seats to the seat matrix of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Super Speciality (NEET SS) round 2 Counselling for the academic year 2024 in the larger interest of candidates.
As per the notice issued by the MCC in this regard, a total of 29 seats have been added to the seat matrix of the NEET SS round 2 2024 Counselling. Through the notice, MCC has informed that the seats could not be included earlier as the DNB Institutes had not completed their profile on the portal provided by MCC.
Hence, candidates can now exercise their choices for the newly added seats in Round 2 of SS Counselling 2024. Below is the detailed seat matrix of the newly added seats-

Medical Dialogues earlier reported on the eligibility criteria for admission to AFMS Institutions for superspeciality courses through common counselling by the DGHS, MOHFW, based on the NEET SS exam for the academic year 2024.
As per the notice, the counselling for AFMS institutes for Super Specialist training is for the Category I, II and III categories. Through the notice, it is further intimated that only those civilian candidates may be made eligible for admission for Super speciality Courses in AFMS institutes, who are less than 30 years of age as on 31 Dec 2024.
