MCC Extends NEET 2024 Round 2 Counselling, 225 Seats Added, 13 Seats Withdrawn
New Delhi- In the larger interest of candidates, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) Round 2 2024 counselling schedule. With this, the schedule of further rounds is also been revised to add new seats in the matrix of Round-2 in pursuance to fresh Letters of permission (LoPs) issued by NMC/ MoHFW.
As per the notice, various events of Round-2 are extended as under-
1 The registration for the NEET UG Round 2 2024 counselling is opened again.
2 The PwD portal is activated and will be available upto 12:00 Noon of 16 September 2024. Candidates can visit the designated disability centres to obtain disability certificates within the stipulated time.
3 The facility of Resignation without forfeiture is provided and will also be available upto 11:00 am of 16 September 2024.
Along with this, MCC has also released the list of new seats added in NEET UG Round 2 2024 counselling and seats withdrawn in UG counselling 2024. As per the new seats added in the 2nd round of UG counselling 2024, a total of 225 seats are vacant. However, 13 seats have been withdrawn from UG Counselling 2024 across 12 Institutes in India.
As per the MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 schedule, the 2nd round began on September 5, 2024, and was scheduled to end on September 26, 2024. Below is the complete schedule-
