MCC halts choice locking for Round 3 NEET PG counselling

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has announced that the choice locking process for Round 3 of the NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025 has been put on hold until further notice.
According to an official notice dated issued by the MCC in this regard, the decision has been taken in supersession of an earlier notice issued on the same day regarding the completion of choice filling for Round 3. MCC stated that the move follows information received from the National Medical Commission (NMC) about a pending matter before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
The notice clarified that while candidates had been informed earlier about the completion timeline of the choice filling process, the choice locking facility for Round 3 will remain suspended until MCC issues further instructions in this regard. No revised timeline has been announced so far.
