MCC issues NRI list of eligible candidates for Round 2 NEET counselling 2026

The conversion has been granted after scrutiny of the documents submitted by the candidates to the MCC of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The list contains important details such as the serial number, NEET UG roll number and candidate name of all those whose NRI claims have been accepted provisionally for counselling. According to the list, a total of 135 candidates are included in the NRI eligibility list for UG (round 2) 2026.

The list covers candidates whose documents were scrutinised by MCC for NRI category eligibility.

MCC has clearly stated that the conversion of these candidates from Indian to NRI is provisional and is being allowed specifically for UG Counselling 2026-27.

The eligibility has been determined on the basis of scrutiny of the documents submitted by candidates to MCC of DGHS.

This means that inclusion in the list does not by itself amount to final confirmation of NRI status for admission.

The most important condition attached to the provisional conversion is that candidates must produce the same original documents at the time of reporting, if they are allotted an NRI seat.

MCC has warned that if a candidate fails to produce the original documents during reporting, the admission is liable to be cancelled.
