MCC NEET, NEET PG counselling mop-up round reporting timeline extended, Check out Details
New Delhi: Through recent notices, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed about the extension to the reporting timeline for the mop up round of NEET and NEET PG counselling 2021.
This is in reference to the ongoing Reporting phase of Mop Up Round of UG Counselling 2021 which is available upto 29th March, 2022 as per NEET schedule and upto 30th March, 2022 as per NEET PG counselling schedule. However, MCC is receiving many requests from candidates for extension of reporting phase due to Bank holidays/ Bank Strike.
Keeping in view, the closure of Banks in between the reporting phase, the competent authority of MCC has decided to extend the time of Reporting by another two days i.e upto 05:00 P.M of 31st March, 2022 so that candidates are not put to inconvenience in payment of fees, the MCC notifications stated.

MCC has recently extended the applications deadline for MBBS admissions under COVID warrior caetrgoy. Earlier, the last date for receiving applications from wards of "COVID Warriors (Deceased)" routed through the respective Directorate of Medical Education (DME)/ Directorate Health Services (DHS) of their domicile states was 17.03.2022. "In this regard, it is informed that the date for receiving duly filled in applications through DMEs/ DHSs has been extended upto 05:00 P.M of 28.03.2022 (Monday)," stated the MCC notice.
Definition of COVID Warrior: As defined by the Ministry of Health & FW vide their OM dated 18.11.2020 and 23.11.2020, which is quoted below:
"Covid Warriors means Public healthcare providers including community health workers, who may have to be in direct contact and care of COVID19 patients and who may be at risk of being impacted by this. Private hospital staff and retired/volunteer/local urban bodies/contractual/daily wage/ad-hoc/outsourced staff requisitioned by States/Central hospitals/autonomous hospitals of Central/States/UTs, AIIMS and INIs/Hospitals of Central Ministries drafted for COVID-19 related responsibilities are also included."
