MCC NEET Round 3 counselling begins, deadline issued for candidates seeking nationality conversion to NRI

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice for candidates seeking admission under the NRI quota in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Round-3 counselling for the academic year 2025.

Therefore, as per the notice, the candidates who want to participate in the NRI quota need to submit certain mandatory documents for the NRI status. Candidates applying as NRI or requesting conversion of nationality from Indian to NRI must submit the following-

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS FOR NRI QUOTA

1 NEET-UG admit card and score card.

2 Proof of NRI status of parent/relative (passport, visa, residence/work permit, OCI/PIO card, or NRI certificate issued by Embassy/Consulate).

3 Certificate of relationship between NRI relative and candidate (issued by the competent Revenue Authority through Family Tree).

4 Notarised affidavit from the NRI relative sponsoring full course fees and living expenses, supported by NRE bank passbook.

5 10th & 12th mark sheets with passing certificate.

6 Birth certificate.

7 Candidate’s or sponsor’s passport (optional)

Hence, the eligible candidates must send all the mandatory documents via email to MCC from 11:00 AM today, i.e. 27th September 2025, to 4:00 PM on September 29, 2025. Documents sent before or after this window will not be considered. Meanwhile, the applicants who were not granted NRI quota eligibility in earlier rounds must resend fresh documents for Round 3. Those already converted to NRI status need not reapply.

As per the revised schedule, the NEET UG round 3 counselling for the academic year 2025 will commence from today , i.e. 27th September 2025 and will end on 19th October 2025. Below is the detailed schedule-
