MCC releases list of candidates joined upto round 3 of NEET counselling 2025

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has released the list of candidates who have joined their allotted seats up to Round-3 of the NEET UG Counselling for the academic year 2025.
The list has been released on the official website of MCC.
The list includes details of candidates admitted through the All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed Universities, and Central Universities, marking the completion of the Round-3 admission process. The state counselling authorities and medical institutions should refer to this official list to ensure transparency and prevent duplication of admissions across state and central counselling rounds.
This step follows the recent Supreme Court directive mandating that state authorities weed out candidates already joined under AIQ Round-3 before proceeding with their own counselling seat processing. This measure ensures that students holding All India Quota seats are not allotted seats again through state-level counselling.
Hence, all state authorities should utilise the shared data through their data-sharing portal to maintain consistency in admissions and comply with the prescribed counselling schedule for NEET UG 2025.

Prior to this, MCC issued a notice to all state counselling authorities to weed out candidates who have already joined seats under the All India Quota (AIQ) Round-3 before processing seats for Round 3 of State NEET UG Counselling for the academic year 2025.
“As per directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Contempt Petition© No. 289 of 2022 in W.P No. 223 of 2022 Shubhankar Patnaik Vs. K. Ramesh Reddy & Ors., the filtering out of joined All India Quota candidates is mandatory in NEET UG Counselling”, the notice stated.
