MCC Releases Provisional List of Eligible NRI Candidates for NEET 2025 Counselling, Allotment to Follow Priority System

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of candidates found eligible for filling NRI choices after due scrutiny by the committee of the documents, as provided by the candidates.
The list includes roll no and name of the candidates who are eligible for filling the NRI choices.
Therefore, through the official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, it has been informed that the candidates' allotment of seats under the NRI Category will be conducted based on the priority 1 and priority 2 systems.
PRIORITY 1
1 NRI Candidate.
2 Children of NRIs.
PRIORITY 2
1 First-degree relatives of NRI wards.
2 Second-degree relatives of NRI wards.
The allotment process will be carried out in sequential order, giving preference to Priority 1 candidates first, followed by Priority 2 candidates, subject to seat availability. Meanwhile, the list is provisional and Candidates are advised to ensure that all required original documents (proof of NRI status, relationship certificates, etc.) are submitted correctly at the time of reporting at the allotted medical college and in case there is a deficiency of documents, the college can cancel the seat allotment.
Meanwhile, Medical Dialogues had recently reported regarding the revised National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) counselling schedule for the academic year 2025 Examination for the All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats.
The schedule outlines the key stages of the allotment process-verification of seat matrix, registration and payment, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, result declaration, reporting/joining, and data sharing across four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Online Stray Vacancy Round. The locking of choices for Round 1 will occur on 6th and 7th August, followed by seat allotment processing from 7th to 8th August, and result declaration on 9th August.
