MCC releases tentative schedule for round 3 NEET PG counselling, Details
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the tentative schedule for Round 3 of the NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025 for admission to 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100 percent Deemed/Central Universities and AFMS seats.
According to the official schedule, Round 3 counselling began with fresh registration on January 30, 2026, and eligible candidates could complete registration and payment by 2:00 PM on January 31, 2026.
The choice filling process commenced on January 31, 2026, and continue until 11:55 AM today, i.e. February 2, 2026. MCC has informed that choice locking will begin from 8:00 PM on February 1, 2026, allowing candidates sufficient time to finalise and lock their preferences.
As per the schedule, the seat allotment processing will take place on February 2, 2026, followed by the declaration of Round 3 results tomorrow, i.e. February 3, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats will be required to report to their respective institutes between February 4 and February 11, 2026, to complete the admission formalities.

Along with this, MCC has also released an important advisory outlining the operational schedule, data-sharing timelines, and working-day norms for Round 3 of NEET PG Counselling 2025, applicable to All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed Universities, Central Universities, and State Counselling Authorities.
According to the schedule released by MCC, the round 3 counselling process for AIQ, Deemed, and Central Universities will be conducted from January 15, 2026, to February 3, 2026. The last date of joining for candidates allotted seats under AIQ, Deemed, and Central Universities is February 11, 2026.
Meanwhile, the State Counselling Authorities will conduct their corresponding Round 3 processes from January 27, 2026, to February 12, 2026, with the last date of joining fixed as February 17, 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-
