MP DME Extends Date Of Choice Filling For Round 2 NEET UG Counselling
Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Madhya Pradesh) extended the date of choice filling for the round 2 of NEET UG counseling.
As per the notice, the choice filling is extended till 23rd November 2022 till midnight. The previous date of choice filling was till 22nd November 2022 till midnight. One more day of extension has been given. This is done due to a letter of permission from NMC to increase 50 MBBS seats in LN Medical College Bhopal and include these seats in round 2.
All candidates must do fresh choice filling who want to participate in round 2, including admitted candidates of the first round who have opted for up-gradation.
Process for choice filling and choice locking –
1. Online Choice Filling & Locking On dme.mponline.gov.in PORTAL.
2. Click on Choice filling on candidate login.
3. Select one option from the following For Government / For Government and Private.
4. Pay the fee as per the selection of option Advance fee is adjustable against the fee deposited by the admitted Candidates in 1st round. After payment, the press continues and redirects to the candidate profile home page for the choice filling.
5. Click on Choice filling on candidate login.
6. Choice filling page will be displayed; fill choices.
7. Lock choices by submitting OTP sent to registered mobile no. on the portal.
8. Take a printout of locked choices.
Candidates, in case they do the part payment after payment, the press continues to redirect to the candidate profile homepage to pay the remaining fee. They will be redirected to the homepage till the full payment has been made by the candidate.
Eligibility criteria –
1. The candidates must be 17 as of 31st December 2022.
2. The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English as core subjects.
3. The candidates must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
4. The candidates have to be NEET UG qualified.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that DME informed about the exemption of the compulsory security fee deposit for round 2 for MBBS and BDS admission. For ST candidates for round 2, compulsory security for choice filling has been removed. The candidates can now submit their willingness for round 2 without making them pay a security fee.
