MP DME notifies revised remaining vacancies for NEET PG stray round
Madhya Pradesh: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has released a revised list of remaining vacancies for MD and MS courses in Government Medical Colleges under the Stray Vacancy Round of MP State National Eligibility and Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) Counselling for the academic year 2025.
According to the list, a total of 79 seats are currently available in various government medical colleges across the state. The revised vacancy matrix includes seats in major government institutions. The vacant seats are available in both Clinical and Non-Clinical specialities. The vacancy list reflects updates made after earlier allotments and adjustments in the counselling process.
Meanwhile, the list also carries an important legal note stating that, as per the Hon’ble High Court interim order dated 23.02.2026 in WP No. 7147 of 2026, one seat in MD General Medicine at MGM Medical College, Indore has been kept vacant. This seat has been withheld from the stray vacancy allotment process until further orders.
The revised vacancy list comes as part of the Stray Vacancy Round, which is the final phase of the MP State NEET PG 2025-26 counselling. Admissions in this round are conducted strictly based on merit and prescribed procedures issued by DME.
Candidates eligible for the stray vacancy round are advised to carefully review the updated seat matrix and follow official instructions to secure admission within the stipulated timeline.
