MUHS notifies on Training Center Level Round For Fellowship, Certificate Courses, check out details

Maharashtra: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has informed that the admission process for the vacant seats available for admission to Fellowship & Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23 will be carried out at affiliated Training Center. It will be a Training Center level round.

The University has conducted a Centralized online admission process up to mop up the round for admission to Fellowship and Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23 at the University level. However, a number of the seat(s) of Fellowship and Certificate Course(s) at some affiliated Training Center(s) are still vacant for the A.Y. 2022-23. Such affiliated Training Center(s) has requested the University to grant permission to fill up the said vacant seat(s) at the concerned affiliated Training Center level round.

Accordingly, on the basis of request(s) received from many aspirants’ applicants and Training Centre(s), it is decided by the University to allow the affiliated Training Center(s) to fillup vacant seat(s) available for admission to Fellowship and Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23 after University MOP-UP Round as per the rules and program prescribed by the University.

Hence, Affiliated Training Center(s) must carry out the admission process strictly as per the University rules and shall adhere to the Eligibility and Merit Criteria as prescribed by the University for Admission to Fellowship and Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23. The admission given by the affiliated Training Center to any candidate, who is not fulfilling the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the University, shall not be considered and will be rejected; kindly note.

The applicants willing to appear for the admission process at Training Center Level round shall submit the application form with all concerned documents to the concerned Affiliated Training Center and shall remain present at their own cost at the respective Training Center(s) as per the program and time schedule prescribed by the University.

All the concerned should note that the following types of candidates/applicants are eligible to apply for the admission process to be conducted at Affiliated Training Center Level Round for admission to Fellowship / Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23 -

Type 01 - Those eligible applicants who have already applied in the Centralized online admission process to Fellowship / Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23 and not got any allotment or have not joined in case of allotment after any round in this Centralized online admission process. Such a candidate need not have to pay the application form fee of Rs. 3,000/- again. Such applicants have to apply at their respective Training Center(s).

Type 02 - Those eligible applicants who have already applied in the Centralized online admission process to Fellowship / Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23 got the allotment and joined/not joined. In case of joining and seat retention, such applicants need not have to pay the application form fee Rs. 3,000/- again. However, University rules prescribed for a refund of fees shall apply to such applicants in case of refund. Such applicant has to apply at the respective Training Center(s).

Type 03 - Those not eligible applicants who have already applied in the Centralized online admission process to Fellowship / Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23. If any of such candidate(s) is fulfilling the eligibility criteria now, then he/she may apply in the prescribed application format by paying the separate application fee of Rs. 3,000/- through the online link https://muhs.unisuite.in/ and need to apply again through the respective Training Center(s).

Type 04 - Any of fresh applicants willing to apply for admission to Fellowship / Certificate Course(s) conducted by affiliated Training Center for admission to Fellowship / Certificate Course(s) for the A.Y. 2022-23. If any of such candidate(s) fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply in the prescribed application format by paying the application form fee of Rs. 3,000/- through the online link https://muhs.unisuite.in/ and need to apply through the respective Training Center(s).

Merit Criteria -

The Centralized online allotment process for admissions to fellowship and/or certificate courses shall be carried out by the University on the basis of merit criteria as prescribed below, namely:-

100 Mark – for 12th Science Mark list (Weightage = percentage of 12th marks obtained by applicant)

CGPA converted to an equivalent percentage.

Applicants who pass the final year PG examination on the first attempt shall be awarded 300 marks. For any extra attempt taken by the applicant to pass the said examination, 50 marks shall be deducted for each such attempt.

Weightage of the UG Degree shall be calculated based on the Percentage of marks obtained by the applicant in the Final Year of the UG examination (Part-I + Part II) or as the case may be.

If the graduate examination mark list or the degree specifies the performance in grades, then in such cases, the respective grades shall be converted into maximum marks of the grade category as prescribed or notified by the concerned examination body.

Seat allotment priority will be followed as per the MUHS policy.

Candidate(s) with a Domicile certificate of the State of Maharashtra shall be given priority in the admission process. Thereafter, the Candidate(s) who are non-domicile of Maharashtra may be considered for the admission process as per merit.

With respect to Allied faculty, 50% of the available seats at the All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai, being a Central Government institute, shall be reserved for all India quota.

In case of candidates passed from Government or aided or Corporation College or Armed Forces college or Institute and those required to complete their Bond Service shall have to submit the Bond completion certificate. It shall be the duty and entire responsibility of the concerned Dean /Principal/ Director of the college /Institute /affiliated training institute to check, verify and decide on the issue of the conformity of the Bond completion certificate, as per the policy of the Government of Maharashtra or D.M.E.R., Mumbai as applicable in the concerned case.

Wherever there is a tie in the marks obtained by the candidates, the total percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the 12th standard examination shall be considered. Accordingly, the candidate with higher marks shall be given preference in the merit list as per the below marking Criteria. If still, the tie persists, then the candidate with higher age shall be given preference in the merit list.

Vacant seats –

1183 seats are left vacant for the Training Center level round. The detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.

List of Documents prescribed by the University to be submitted at the respective Training Center(s) -

1. Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or

2. Photocopy of a Valid Passport duly attested by the Head of the Department or

3. Birth Certificate having endorsed with nationality as Indian on it

4. Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate (as applicable)

5. Mark list (s) of all qualifying examination HSC 12th Standard is mandatory (reflecting percentage of marks obtained out of total marks calculation)

6. Mark list (s) of all qualifying examination UG Mark list(s) of Undergraduate Final Year Part-I & Part-II is mandatory.

7. Those Candidate(s) who have completed their UG/PG degree from a Foreign University shall have to mandatorily submit a mark list of the National Board of Examination conducted by the concerned Central Council or appropriate authority. Such Candidate(s) have to fill in their marks details accordingly.

8. Mark list (s) of all qualifying examination PG Diploma / Degree is mandatory (as per the prescribed eligibility of the concerned Course)

9. Passing /Degree Certificate UG, PG Diploma / Degree shall be attached (as per the prescribed eligibility of the concerned Course)

10. Internship Completion Certificate (If applicable)

11. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer in case of in-service candidate (as applicable). Also, such Candidate(s) must submit the Application through the proper channel as required and applicable in the concerned case.

12. Valid Registration certificate from the Respective Council or attach renewal receipt.

13. College leaving Certificate (LC/TC).

14. Attempt Certificate of all examinations in PG Diploma / PG Degree / DNB is mandatory. Candidates shall submit Self-declaration about PG Attempt(s).

15. Gazette copy for change in name (If applicable )

16. Migration Certificate issued by the respective University (If applicable )

17. Candidates shall submit Self-declaration about Self-Educational Gap Certificate (after qualifying Degree) (If applicable)

18. For Fellowship Course(s) under Medical Faculty, qualification(s) awarded by the College of Physician & Surgeon, Mumbai shall be considered only if the qualification(s) is equivalent to the eligibility prescribed for the concerned Fellowship Course by MUHS and if the said CPS,

19. FCPS qualification is registered with MMC, Mumbai.

20. Medical Fitness Certificate (as per format made available by the University) Self-declaration form for self-attestation (as per format made available by the University)

All the concerned should note and follow the Merit Criteria as prescribed by the University under –

1. Maharashtra Domicile Applicant.

2. Superspeciality Degree (400 Marks), Post Graduate Degree (300 Marks), Post Graduate Degree attempts, Post Graduate Diploma (200 Marks), Under Graduate Marks, 12th Marks, and if the tie persists, HSC Marks and Age Criteria have been applied as per individual case and as per the policy of the University.

3. If Maharashtra Domicile Applicant is unavailable, then only Non-Maharashtra Domicile applicant(s) were considered as per such vacancy and their priority.

4. Separate merit number is generated as per the candidate’s PG, UG & 12th Course merit criteria (as applicable).

Further, all the affiliated Training Centers shall verify and confirm the vacant seat position at their respective Training Centers after the University MOP-UP Round published by the University, failing which, the Training Center shall be held responsible for academic or financial loss, if any; incurred in such event.

Furthermore, it is the duty of the concerned affiliated Training center to carry out the said admission process in a transparent and accountable manner. The University shall have the right to appoint the Observer to any of the affiliated Training Centers to verify the smooth functioning of said admission procedure.

It is pertinent to note that; all the concerned affiliated Training center has to follow the Time Schedule as prescribed by the University in toto. It is mandatory for the affiliated Training Center to communicate the list of student(s) who applied for the course by e-mail on 3 fccc@muhs.ac.in to the University before publishing the Primary Temporary General Merit List on their Notice Board/website as per the prescribed time schedule.

It is made clear that, for this Academic Year 2022-23, the Fellowship & Certificate Course(s) has already started for those applicant(s) who has taken admission in Centralized Onlined Admission Procedure conducted by the University. Hence, the eligible candidate(s) who so ever takes admission in this admission process to be conducted by the Training Center Level round will be eligible to appear for Final University Examination as per the terms and conditions applicable for term extension.
