NBE Announces Allotment Result For Final Mop-Up Round of DNB Post Diploma admissions
Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the allotment result of the final mop-up round of counseling for DNB (Post Diploma) courses 2023 admission session.
The result includes Roll Number, Rank, Allocated Quota, Specialty, Name of the Institute/Hospital, and State. To view the result, click on the link below –
The schedule of conduct of the final mop-up round of online centralized merit-based counseling for admission to DNB (Post Diploma) courses 2023 Admission Session was notified vide NBEMS notice dated 26-10-2023.
Candidates are requested to join their DNB training at the allotted Hospital/ Institute on or before 15-11-2023. No relaxation in the physical joining shall be permissible beyond 15-11-2023 (1600hrs). Candidates who do not join their allotted Hospital/ Institute by 15-11-2023 will lose their DNB (Post Diploma) seat & their Fee shall be forfeited.
Candidates who are already registered for the DNB-PDCET 2023 counseling and have not been offered any seat during the first, second, and third rounds of counseling were only eligible for the final mop-up round of counseling. Candidates who have been allotted a DNB Post Diploma seat in any of these three rounds of counseling but have failed to join the allocated institute were ineligible for participation in the final mop-up round of counseling. No new registrations are permitted for the final mop-up round.
The Government of India established the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in 1975 with the objective of improving the quality of Medical Education by establishing high and uniform standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine on an all-India basis and utilizing existing infrastructure for capacity building. Currently, NBEMS conducts postgraduate and postdoctoral examinations in approved specialties, leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board (DNB) and Doctorate of National Board (DrNB), respectively.
