NBE extends NOC submission deadline for sponsored DNB admissions 2025

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has extended the last date for submission of NOC for Centralised Merit-Based Online Counselling for admission to Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seats for the 2025 admission session.
According to the official notice issued by the NBEMS in this regard, in accordance with the directions from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India and vide NBEMS notice, the minimum qualifying percentile for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling for the academic year 2025 has been reduced.
Therefore, in continuation of NBEMS notice regarding Centralised Merit-Based counselling for admission to Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seats 2025 admission session, the last date for submission of NOC in the prescribed format has now been extended till 7th February 2026.
However, the guidelines regarding eligibility for participation in the Counselling and the format of NOC shall remain the same as prescribed in the earlier notice.

Meanwhile, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) recently revised the schedule for the NEET PG counselling for the academic year 2025, covering All India Quota AIQ, Deemed and Central Universities, and State Quota admissions. On this, Medical Dialogues had reported that the Round-3 counselling activities have started from 15th January 2026 and will conclude with reporting and joining by 7th February 2026. Following this, the online stray vacancy round will commence from 9th February 2026 and will end on 28th February 2026.

The schedule outlines timelines for Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round, along with key dates for reporting, data sharing, and commencement of the academic session.
