NBE issues Instructions for International Students to join NBEMS Fellowship programmes, details

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued Instructions for International Students to join the NBE Fellowship programmes.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) introduced Fellowship programme for International Students from 2020 wherein eligible international doctors can undergo Fellowship training in NBEMS-accredited hospitals.
The fellowship programme is based on an entrance test, i.e., Fellowship Entrance Test (FET). FET is a qualifying-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various Fellowship (FNB) courses of NBEMS.
NBEMS conducts FET once a year on a Computer Based Platform at various test centres across the country. Students with DNB/MD/MS/MCh/DM qualification in the concerned specialty are eligible for fellowship programme. The details of various fellowship courses offered are given in the Information Bulletin which can be seen at the NBEMS website
Some of the fellowship courses offered are Arthroplasty, Hand and Micro Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, Maternal & Foetal Medicine, Minimal Access Surgery, Paediatric Gastroenterology, Paediatric Hemato Oncology, Reproductive Medicine, Spine Surgery, Trauma & Acute Care Surgery, Vitreo Retinal Surgery.
The steps to apply for Fellowship Entrance Test are as under:
Visit NBEMS Website for Information Bulletin and Application Link to apply for FET.
Fill in your personal details such as Name, nationality, Email ID, Mobile number etc.
Fill in your qualification details.
Upload documents for personal Identification and qualification details.
Choose Exam City
Submit the application form after paying the prescribed fees.
Admission to the courses of NBEMS Fellowship programme will be through a centralized merit-based counselling.
The Information Bulletin for 2025 session for admission to fellowship courses will be published by NBEMS in due course.
