NBE notifies centralised merit-based counselling for sponsored DNB seats 2025 admission session, check details

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a notice regarding the Centralised Merit-Based Counselling for admission to Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seats for the 2025 admission session.

According to the notice, NBEMS shall be conducting the Centralized Merit Based counseling for admission to Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seats for the 2025 admission session, the schedule for which shall be notified in due course.

Therefore, all such candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are desirous for opting the Sponsored (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) DNB seat are required to submit their request to their parent organisation. The Cadre Controlling Authority should issue NOC in favor of candidates and submit it to NBEMS.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES FOR PARTICIPATION IN SPONSORED (POST MBBS) DNB SEATS COUNSELLING

1 Candidates who are working in a Government (State/ Central/ Autonomous/ PSUs, etc.) organisation on a regular basis are eligible for Sponsored (Post MBBS) DNB seats.

AND

2 Candidates must be in possession of an MBBS qualification recognised as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and a permanent registration certificate of the MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.

AND

3 Must have “Qualified” NEET-PG 2025 and must have completed one year of internship on or before 31st July, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES FOR PARTICIPATION IN SPONSORED DNB (POST DIPLOMA SEATS COUNSELLING

1 Candidates who are working in a Government (State/ Central/ Autonomous/ PSUs, etc.) organisation on a regular basis are eligible for Sponsored DNB (Post Diploma) seats.

AND

2 Candidates who have passed the final examination leading to the award of Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Universities, which are duly recognised as per provisions of NMC Act 2019, i.e. have passed final examinations for Post Graduate Diploma qualification on or before 31st January, 2025.

AND

3 Candidate must have “Appeared” in DNB-PDCET 2025.

Meanwhile, the duly filled and signed NOC should be submitted at the CWP of NBEMS latest by 8 th January, 2026. Steps to submit NOC through CWP are as follows-

STEP 1- Go to the official website of NBE.

STEP 2- Contact Us.

STEP 3- Communication Web Portal.

STEP 4- Department of Training and Monitoring.

STEP 5- Query related to Select option 1 “Counselling”.

STEP 6- Select option 2 “Submission of NOC”.

STEP 7- Select Course (DNB Post MBBS/DNB Post Diploma).

STEP 8- Fill other details as per the requirement.

STEP 9- Attach NOC strictly as per the requisite format.

STEP 10- Submit Your Query.

However, receipt of NOC beyond the prescribed date and through any other mode/ email shall not be considered by NBEMS. Centralised Merit-Based online counselling for Sponsored DNB seats shall be conducted thereafter. The detailed schedule of online counselling shall be notified in due course.

Along with this, NBEMS has also published the Indicative Seat Matrix for Sponsored (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) DNB courses 2025 admission session. However, the final Seat matrix shall be notified before the conduct of Centralised Merit-Based Online Counselling on the NBEMS website. According to the Seat Matrix, a total of 234 seats are vacant for Sponsored (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) DNB courses 2025 admission session.

Of these, a total of 36 seats are vacant for Post Diploma DNB Sponsored Seats and a total of 198 seats are vacant for Post MBBS DNB Sponsored Seats. The Indicative Seat Matrix has been published on the official website of NBEMS. Therefore, candidates can check and view the same from there. The list includes details such as the name of the hospital/ Institution, State, speciality, and seat matrix.
