NBE releases vacant indicative seat matrix for final mop up round counselling to FNB admissions 2025 session, details
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the indicative seat matrix for the Final (Mop-up) Round of online counselling for admission to Fellowship of the National Board (FNB) courses for the 2025 admission session.
The seat matrix has been released on the official website of NBE.
The seat matrix lists available FNB seats across hospitals and institutions in multiple states, covering various specialities- institution-wise details, including the hospital name, state, FNB speciality, type of management, and the number of seats available for the final mop-up counselling round.
As per the matrix, 260 FNB seats are vacant across 29 super-specialised FNB programmes. Importantly, NBEMS has clarified that the published seat matrix is “purely provisional.” Below is the detailed seat matrix-

Candidates have been advised to contact the respective hospital or visit its website to check the applicable bond policy before entering their seat preferences. They may also contact the concerned institution for any additional information required before making their choices.
For information regarding the applicability of a service bond, candidates have been advised to refer to the earlier indicative seat matrix, as well as the counselling website.
As per the schedule earlier issued by the NBE, the eligible candidates will be able to log in and fill their choices for the final mop-up round from September 18 to September 21, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
The allotment result will be declared on September 25, 2026
