NEET 2025: Check Out Expected MBBS Cut-Off at Private Medical Colleges

New Delhi- India's biggest medical entrance exam, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025, was conducted on May 4, 2025. Although the NEET cut-off 2025 is yet to be announced officially, as per last year's opening and closing rank details, aspirants can anticipate their chances of getting admission in their preferred medical colleges.
The National Eligibility-Entrance Test (NEET) serves as the primary gateway for MBBS admissions in India, encompassing both government and private medical colleges. While government institutions often have higher cutoffs due to their limited number of seats and higher demand, private medical colleges typically exhibit lower cutoffs, offering more accessible opportunities for aspiring medical students. There is also a huge difference in fees between government and private medical colleges.
The expected minimum NEET 2025 cut-off for private medical colleges in category-wise, is as follows-
S.NO | CATEGORY | MINIMUM QUALIFYING MARKS 2025 | NEET CUT-OFF PERCENTILE |
1 | General/EWS | 720 to 155 | 45th |
2 | General-PH | 154 to 135 | 45th |
3 | SC | 154 to 125 | 40th |
4 | OBC | 154 to 135 | 40th |
5 | ST | 154 to 135 | 40th |
6 | SC/OBC-PH | 135 to 125 | 40th |
7 | ST-PH | 135 to 125 | 40th |
There are 3 types of seats available in private medical colleges, i.e. All India Quota seats, State Quota seats and Management Quota seats. The cut-off requirement for Management Quota seats is the lowest, while the AIQ cut-off is the highest.
