NEET 2025 counselling: MCC to close round 5 registrations for BDS, BSc Nursing admissions, 47 seats up for grabs

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for the fifth round of National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling for the academic year 2025.
This round is for students who wish to pursue BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) or BSc Nursing courses. Therefore, students can register online on the official MCC website and select their preferred colleges.
According to the official schedule released by the MCC in this regard, the registration and choice filling began on January 1, 2026, and will close on January 3, 2026. The purpose of this counselling is to fill vacant seats under the All India Quota in dental and nursing colleges across India. The detailed schedule is given below-

STEPS TO APPLY FOR NEET UG COUNSELLING 2025
STEP 1- Go to the official website of the MCC.
STEP 2- Look for the 'UG Medical Counselling' section and click on the link.
STEP 3- Find and click on the 'New Registration' link. This will open the application form.
STEP 4- Enter your NEET UG roll number and the password you created during your NEET UG application.
STEP 5- Fill in all the required personal details accurately. This includes your name, date of birth, contact information, and educational qualifications.
STEP 6- Pay the NEET UG counselling registration fee. The fee amount will be displayed on the portal. Make sure to use a secure online payment method.
STEP 7- Before final submission, carefully review all the information you have entered. Check for any mistakes in your personal details or chosen colleges.
STEP 8- Once you are sure everything is correct, click on the 'Submit' button to complete your application.

Along with this, the MCC has published the official seat matrix for Round 5 of NEET UG 2025 counselling, detailing the availability of vacant seats in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and BSc Nursing courses across multiple states and institutions in India. The seat matrix has been released on the official website of MCC. Therefore, candidates can view and download the same from there.
According to the seat matrix, a total of 47 seats are vacant for BDS and BSc Nursing. The seat matrix contains important details such as state name, Institute, Quota, Branch, Category and Total Seats. Of these, a total of 38 seats are vacant in BDS and 9 seats are vacant in BSc Nursing.
