NEET 2025: MCC announces extended Round 1 Counselling Schedule, check new dates
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced extensions in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Round 1 Counselling schedule for the academic year 2025. The changes have been made after many requests were received from candidates to the competent authority.
As per the extended schedule, now the NEET UG 2025 Round 1 registration, Payment facility, reset registration, choice filling and locking process have been extended till 31st July, 2025. Following this, the Seat Processing for Round1 will be done from 1st August 2025, and the result will be declared on 3rd August. Reporting process will commence from 4th August.

STEPS TO REGISTER FOR THE NEET UG COUNSELLING 2025
STEP 1- Visit the official website.
STEP 2- Click on the “UG Medical Counselling” section.
STEP 3- Register or log in using NEET UG credentials.
STEP 4- Complete the application form and pay the processing fee.
STEP 5- Upload necessary documents (NEET scorecard, photo ID, category certificate, etc.).
STEP 6- Fill in and lock your choices of colleges and courses.
STEP 7- Download the confirmation page for future reference.
Earlier the Registration, payment, choice filling and locking by the candidates for Round I were scheduled till 28th July, 2025 and the processing of seat allotment was to be conducted between July 29 and July 30.
