NEET 2025: MCC declares earlier BDS, BSc Nursing choices null, fresh choice filling open for special stray round

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important clarification regarding choice filling for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate, NEET UG counselling for the academic year 2025 for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats.
According to the official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, the choices exercised earlier by candidates for BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses between December 9 and December 11, 2025, will be treated as “Null & Void”.
All eligible candidates, irrespective of whether they had filled choices earlier or not, must undertake fresh choice filling for the Special Stray Vacancy Round. Hence, the fresh choice filling window will remain open from today i.e. December 18 to December 21, 2025, and candidates are required to submit their preferences within this stipulated period.

Meanwhile, MCC recently released the official schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of the NEET UG counselling for the academic year 2025 for MBBS admissions, along with timelines for BDS and BSc Nursing seats under All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed and Central Universities, and State Quota.
