NEET 2025: MCC further extends Round 1 Counselling, Choice Filling To End Tomorrow

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Round 1 Counselling schedule for the academic year 2025. It has been extended after the competent authority has received many requests from NRI and PwBD candidates and ongoing court cases.
As per the extended schedule, MCC has extended the registration, RESET registration and payment process till today i.e. 06th August 2025. The choice filling and choice locking process till tomorrow i.e. 07th August 2025. Following this, the seat processing for the NEET UG round 1 counselling 2025 will be done between 07 to 08th August 2025.
In reference to many requests being received from NRI/ PwBD candidates and ongoing court cases, the competent authority has decided to extend further the schedule of Round-1 of UG Counselling 2025 as under:

6 | Seat Processing for Round-1. | 7th- to 8th August 2025 |
7 | Result Declaration of Round-1. | 9th August 2025 |
8 | Reporting for Round-1. | 9th to 18th August 2025 |

STEPS TO REGISTER FOR THE NEET UG COUNSELLING 2025
STEP 1- Visit the official website.
STEP 2- Click on the “UG Medical Counselling” section.
STEP 3- Register or log in using NEET UG credentials.
STEP 4- Complete the application form and pay the processing fee.
STEP 5- Upload necessary documents (NEET scorecard, photo ID, category certificate, etc.).
STEP 6- Fill in and lock your choices of colleges and courses.
STEP 7- Download the confirmation page for future reference.
