NEET 2025: TN Health extends round 3 choice filling, details

Tamil Nadu: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu, through the Selection Committee, has announced an update for MBBS and BDS aspirants participating in the ongoing State NEET counselling round 3 for the academic year 2025.
According to a Notification issued by the TN Health, the Selection Committee has decided to extend the choice filling window due to possible changes in the seat matrix and the addition of seats across medical and dental colleges in the state. Therefore, now the candidates can fill and edit their preferred colleges and courses till tomorrow i.e. November 1, 2025, up to 12:00 noon.
In view of any change in seat matrix / addition of Seats, Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee has decided to allow only Choice Filling (Not Locking) till 01.11.2025, 12.00 Noon.
Candidates can fill their Choices and edit their choices during this period. Choice locking will be enabled from 01.11.2025, 12.00 Noon till 01.11.2025, 05.00 PM.
Even if the candidates fail to lock their choices, it will be automatically locked at 01.11.2025, 05.00 PM.

Along with this, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu, through the Selection Committee, has also published the tentative vacancy positions for MBBS and BDS admissions for the academic year 2025–2026. The data covers seats available under both 92.5% State Quota and 7.5% Reservation for government school students. The comprehensive vacancy lists include government, self-financing, ESIC, and private medical and dental colleges across Tamil Nadu. Below is the detailed seat vacancies-
