NEET 2025: TN Health Revises State Counselling Schedule, Check New Dates Here

Tamil Nadu- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) recently extended the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) round 1 Counselling dates for the academic year 2025 for the All India Quota (AIQ). Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu (TN Health) has also made changes in the schedule for the Tamil Nadu State UG Medical Counselling Round 1.
As per the notice issued by the TN Health in this regard, now the candidates can register and fill their choices and lock their choices till today i.e. 6th August 2025, 11pm. Therefore, the processing of seat allotment will be done on 7th August 2025. The results will be published on 8th August 2025. The Candidates can download their Allotment Order from 8th August till 13th August 2025, 12.00 Noon. The last reporting date of Counselling for Tamil Nadu Round 1 is till 13th August 2025, 5.00pm.
On this, Medical Dialogues has earlier reported that the candidates who are participating in the online choice filling for MBBS & BDS Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs 500/- for Government Quota and Rs 1000/- for Management Quota. In addition, at the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit of Rs 30,000/- for Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical & Dental Colleges & State Private Universities.
Moreover, for the Management Quota, including Minority / NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Medical & Dental Colleges & State Private Universities, candidates have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit of Rs 1,00,000/-. However, SC/SCA/ST and Converts to Christianity from Scheduled Caste candidates (SCC) are exempted fromthe Security deposit if the annual Income is less than 2.5 Lakhs.
CHOICE FILLING
1 Candidates should be careful while choosing.
2 Candidates will have the option of choosing filling for all the seats for which they have applied. The candidates are encouraged to analyse all the choices available and fill in their choices in order of their preference.
3 Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked, they will not be allowed to edit. Hence, candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking.
4 If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date, i.e. 04 August 2025, 5:00 PM, their choices will be automatically locked.
5 Seat Matrix for the Courses will be available on the official website of TN Health.
6 The Selection Committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity errors and Procedural errors.
7 Admission to MBBS & BDS Degree courses shall be made by online counselling based on rank, by applying the rule of reservation.
8 Request for change of course (MBBS/BDS) or College, from one to another, is not permitted after final locking.
